Great blog Hana!! It is very classy and informative!! The information on your blog is not only useful for p4p and for ladies who might be interested in touring Japan but also for those who want to know more about Japan’s nightlife.

I am now interested in checking out R2 Supperclub which I had no idea existed until reading your blog. My intention on going there is not necessarily to pick up anyone but more for drinks and relaxation. I prefer drinking in a nice lounge over the bar scene. Btw, do they play any kind of music there? Thanks again!!

I’ve been to R2 Supperclub about 5 or 6 times in the past. They’ve usually played house music, but sometimes they have events where they invite guest DJs and play a mix of Top 40’s, R&B, and EDM.

Great!! We will definitely check it out on our next trip. You also mentioned a dress code for R2. Can you please elaborate more on this matter. I don’t see them mentioning anything about this on their website. Can guys wear jeans or is it a slack and dress pants only kind of place??

Sure. There’s this dress code notice sticker near the entrance of R2. Don’t think it’s on their website.

Jeans are fine. The men are either wearing smart casual or business casual. Some arrive in suits.

Women are dressed in either smart casual or cocktail/evening dresses paired with heels.

I’ve only been there once but it’s definitely not only an escort pick up place, lots of people just go there to lounge really. So you’d probably like it.

I finally got a chance to read your blog, Hana, and let me add my voice to all the others who think it is terrific. I don't read blogs much at all, but your first blog entry is MUCH better written, clearly organized, informative and useful (to its target readers) than any of the others I've seen. It feels more like a FAQ or guide book for escorts visiting Tokyo (especially if it is their first time or one of their first times). It also has a nice friendly, easy to read tone to it. It definitely isn't an example of the sort of blogs others were complaining about in some of the posts above, one where the writer shares the minutiae of their week or whatever.

I actually tried to film a video before starting the blog.. but after seeing the footage, I changed my mind. I’m very awkward in front of the camera. Lol.

Plus, YouTube is starting to delete sexworkers’ channels, even if they don’t show any nudity or aren’t breaking any laws. They’ve already deleted Erika Lust’s channel twice.

I think my friend's channel is ok, even if she's a very popular sex worker.

Youtube is very weird about what and where it chooses to enforce its rules and it's been getting stricter on some (while more lax on others)
Officially since SW is illegal in some countries and escorting is one of those things that's a bit legally fuzzy in the USA often talking about it even in context of yourself could get your video flagged and banned, especially depending on how you talk about it or tag the video.

Anything LGBTQ, Sex Positive, Sex Educational have also at times resulted in bannings or videos being removed or blocked from views so who knows. It all depends on who flag it and which staff member/robot reviews it.

Yup, it's just a bunch of prudy assholes who don't like the idea of other people having a good time or even knowing that good times can exist that'll report things until they hit the right person going through the reports who either isn't paying attention or doesn't care or agree's and just bans them.

then it's the long uphill progress of trying to undo the damage.

Anyway, yeah as much as I'd like to see more escort Vlogs and Blogs there's always the small danger that something will change and you'll get the boot off that section of the internet.

I felt the #1 and #3 things that @MissInsomnia listed in her blog post truly came from the heart. Those two things resonated with me because it showed @MissInsomnia at her most vulnerable. Still, she learned valuable lessons from those experiences. It’s the stuff that made her a stronger person. Now, she’s sharing the wisdom gained from those early setbacks. That is remarkable and inspiring.

Second, loved that blog post. It was informative, clear cut, and it really helps people who are new or even people who might have been in the biz for a while but are making those same mistakes to maybe rethink.
