Actually I've quite enjoyed Abroad in Japan's youtube videos - informative with some British humour added.
Wouldn't mind meeting him personally. Seems like the type of person you could have a good chat with.
Also same goes with a few other Youtubers that I watch who make educational/scientific content.
I wouldn't really have any interest in meeting any celebrities or 'idols' though.

I tend to agree with you on that . Especially for the once-in-a-month-at-least threads such as "hey I'm new to Japan , want to try (whatever) , where should I go?"
A little bit of research on this website would answer 90% of his question . Then for the rest (more specific tastes, follow-up inquiry etc) that would make sense indeed to start a new thread which would be informative for everybody , not just him.

Jesus, don't be so negative.
This is a forum about adult life in Tokyo, not just about girls bars. Yes, they are a part of adult life and its a shame there was no valuable advice in there. But on other topics with questions about adult life there are serveral useful recommendations made so this doesn't mean the whole forum is useless.

In all honesty, the majority of people into adult night life avoid Roppongi like the plague.

Roppongi is where you go if you want to get roofied and wake up in the gutter with a wallet full of maxed out credit cards and an empty bank account.
