Saw this on my timeline: a clip of the late, great American character actor Fred Ward telling an Indian joke in the 1983 movie Silkwood.

Ward, who died on May 8 at age 79, was part Cherokee. He got his start in movies in Rome, where he was hired to dub spaghetti westerns into English.

Solid guy, just like his roles in The Right Stuff and Tremors. He will be missed.
