I wasn't aware of my fav. meeting spot for Gotanda was closed down at the end of Sept. 2017. I don't go there much, but I bring near Shibuya clients all to Gotanda.

Any other likely meeting spot shops closed down and replaced?

The bigger locations haven't changed much. Except if you think about Kabukicho -- that has changed a lot in the past 10 years.
Old meeting spots are gone but replaced with new ones. Shibuya just had a big change with the new Mega Donki being opened down from H&M.

Other places around Tokyo, not so much change that I've seen.

Right. I see! I get moved, when a small fav. meeting spot changes. Funngly, TOHO Cinema's Krespy Kreme last pretty long, that glad that is not changed!

I go to Gotanda maybe once or twice a month but that's always for the same repeat. He checks into the hotel by himself first and updates the room number via email so I don't have a set meeting spot in Gotanda. When I was working for an agency, they told me to meet client in front of the golf shop at west exit.
Krispy Kreme at Shinjuku Toho building is very popular meeting spot. I often see other escort-looking girls there. I don't really go to Ikebukuro but when I do, I usually meet clients at the north exit. It must be a famous meeting spot for older Fuzoku girls and their clients. I have been asked if I was Ms.xxx very often...

Near Krispy Kreme at Toho might not be the best meeting spot. At night I always saw heaps of J-girls just waiting around.
In front of Itamae sushi seems like a better idea. Same toho building, just around the corner and less crowded.

more eye candy :)

most of the time the client tells the provider/agency his getup for the meeting (like I'll be wearing a red jacket). the provider always approaches the client ... not the other way around.

I take East...so I don't know the golf shop! I'm so bad at directions...when it's not at a famous hotel, I tend to meet at the station or near by. Ikebukuro, Japanese guys tend to hook up, after sessions recently...I say no to them.

Yes, that the most my clients tell me, when meet ups. 10% they say where they are from. 2% they send photos. I only grasp from what they wear, but that's good enough. I can find them!
One time, PU a wrong person in Shinjuku. noticed before kuyakusho dori. lol.
