Hello, I've read the forum for awhile but this is my first post.

I'm in a sexless marriage and have been looking for other options to have fun. One option I've pursued is Happening Bars. I'm relatively handsome, mid-thirties white guy and find I can have some luck at these establishments.

I've been to Colors Bar about five times between a year and 6 months ago. The first two times were nice. The first time I got to play with a nice, older woman, the second time with a wild younger woman. The third time it was too quiet and I didn't get to play. The forth and fifth times, the owner had changed and it was like a wild, party atmosphere. People were talking and they had an S&M show, but nobody was really playing. I didn't go back after that. Has anyone had good experiences at Happening Bars when showing up as a single guy? I'm tempted to try Waku Waku and Sleeping Beauty. Has anyone been successful at these bars or other Happening Bars? And if so, what night of the week?

And has anyone been successful during the daytime at any Happening Bars, or participating in specific themes? Colors has a secret married rendevous theme most Monday afternoons. That would be perfect for me but I don't want to waste an afternoon hanging out there with a few guys and no girls if they don't have good turn out at those events.

Anyways, thanks for reading and any feedback you can offer!

Happening bars by nature are unpredictable. So you can never can truly say what day or time will specifically be the best.

As a general rule, most people go on Friday and Saturday. If they have a special event, then that day might be best. Depending on the bar, they might be good on a weekday. Sometimes afternoon Tuesday or Thursday, where they encourage housewives to come. This is specific to the bar and you would have to watch their BBS.

I will do a write up on Sleeping Beauty (Dogenzaka, Shibuya) which has recently become very bad for swinging. The management has lost it's mind, so recommend against due to high prices, them asking for too much personal information, and weird rules. The only purpose would be to go as a couple and as a fetish bar type vibe. The only reason Sleeping Beauty is somewhat popular is due to it's location by the discos, nice interior, and OLD REPUTATION. It's like Roppongi. It was good YEARS ago, NOT now.

Waku Waku is decent, but it was never a place for high level action. It's more known for it's events and shows. It's more like a tourist attraction/ a place to see and say you have been, versus getting it on action.

In general and arguably, sex and sexual adventure is decreasing in Japan. Thus population is decreasing.

Many Japanese guys are going the effeminate/gay route, paying crazy high prices for prostitutes, or not having sex at all.

Many Japanese women have gone the predatory prostitute route (even part time prostitute) or looking for guys to feed them/parasite route as stay at home houswife.

The Happening Bars, where many are expensive, have thus suffered a lot. Many Japanese guys were BUYING females to escort them to the bar, plus paying entrance fees, so blowing like 50,000 yen a night (how often can most guys do that?)

Happening bars also appear to have gotten a bad reputation among Japanese women, like Nampa (talking to guys outside their bubble). Most Japanese females don't understand Swinging. So they errornously and idiotically think they are rape clubs. Totally stupid female-think and scare stories.

Many Japanese never understood swinging or were going to secret and private swinger hotel parties. Japanese guys don't usually allow foreign guys at their parties due to the whole penis envy thing and xenophobia.

The few Couple Kissas is where the action is at, like Olive-21. But you need to go as a couple, single guys or single females are not allowed.

I'm still new here. However, I have to a disagree a little with that. Based off my experiences with them. One of my favorites was recently closed and almost every time I went there I got action.

Also, they had a discount for living in saitama. I have had some miss nights at bliss. Have you tried any of the ones in ueno?
Dark knight (ueno) was fun but my partner was a little to nervous to make it enjoyable. There set up was a bit more classy though.

There are exceptions to the rule, like Arabesque in Shinjuku San-chome.

It can depend on the bar manager, as well as luck. A good bar manager encourages swingers and swinger couples to come.

It could also be the area. Shibuya and Shinjuku appear to be just going after money, with little return in value. Could be that other areas and bar managers are different.

Another point is the level of action that people think is acceptable. Some might think getting 1 interaction is good, while others see an multiple interactions as prefered, and then there is the middle. Some might even see "watched others" or "almost did it" as acceptable, because the oppourtunity was there.

Do a review of Dark Knight ;-)

I will put out more reviews and ratings of places that I know.

The review is a old but I guess it could not hurt since I have not seen on here so far. I'll post it when I'm not so mobile.
