Ah, you're right, I didn't see the word soapland at first, but i just wasn't paying close attention I guess.

I've taken to trying to ask the org or someone else directly via email or maybe Twitter if foreigners are okay (with the caveat of having enough Japanese to get by). Sometimes that works pretty well- I've gotten some pretty well-known porn stars reply to my inquiries on Twitter regarding various events.
