Hello
I join a Japanese company and will travel to japan often for work. I cannot speak japanese.
So was really wondering anyone would be free in March for show me around or something.

I am quite into ladies in their late 30s and above though. Any recommendation on where I can have some time with ?

For free or paid?
For free maybe try your luck in bars in Ginza for older ladies or Roppongi for English speakers (some might be older ladies).
Paid and everything can be done English: Asian Mystique has serveral stylish ladies above 35 and TAG's own @Manami TMK also cant be missed.

Thank you. I’m trying to read up and see what is there to offer. Paid or non paid. Hopefully would be able to get something. But is it common for guys to be drinking alone in the pub in japan?

Welcome to the Board.

Alice has given you good suggestions.

I don't go out drinking in Tokyo myself, but would if I lived there.

You're going to love the Tokyo nightlife-the skyline is stunning and the streets bustle with all sorts of activity.

You will probably be a lot safer in Tokyo than at home, however, don't completely let your guard down. Use the TAG search function and input, "touts"

Here's a warning from the US Embassy:

Complaints of robberies committed after a victim has been drugged from a spiked drink are increasing. Some of Tokyo’s entertainment and nightlife districts – in particular, the Roppongi and Kabuki-cho areas – are considered high-risk areas for crime, and the Embassy receives reports of drink spiking, credit card fraud, extortion, and even assault in these districts. Use caution in all entertainment and nightlife districts throughout Japan.

Every year hundreds of thousands of tourists have safe and enjoyable visits to Tokyo. To help make sure you are one of them, follow these simple tips:
  • If you are going out to enjoy Tokyo’s bars or nightclubs, consider leaving your credit and debit cards in the hotel safe! Take cash, and only as much cash as you are willing to spend.
  • Don’t go clubbing alone! Take a friend, and stay together.
  • Never enter a bar or club that employs a street hawker to draw in customers! Some establishments, especially in high-risk entertainment areas that cater to foreign clientele, put touts on the street to drum up business. These touts can be very aggressive, and many incidents reported to the Embassy take place in establishments that use them. If you meet one, it’s best to move on.
  • Don’t accept an invitation for a free drink! In many incidents reported to the Embassy, touts have used offers of free drinks as an enticement.
  • Keep an eye on your drink! Drink spiking at bars and entertainment venues, especially in areas such as Roppongi and Kabuki-cho, near Shinjuku, has led to credit card fraud, robbery and even physical and sexual assaults.
  • Know when to say when! Criminals single out intoxicated persons as easy victims.
  • Obey the law! Remember that possession or use of illegal drugs, including marijuana, are serious crimes in Japan. Convictions for drug offenses result in lengthy sentences.

They forgot Ikebukuro

The only problem I have heard in Ikebukuro is they won't let you in, unlike in Roppongi and Kabukicho where they don't let you walk past their doors. :D

There are some reports on TAG about Ikebukuro scams, like the one about the "North exit gang".
Also i dont know about drugging but i did heard something about credit card theft after people get too drunk to look after their wallets. Only about Japanese people so far though.

Sound like Tokyo nightlife sound scarier than where I am from. I Guess I would avoid the red light area and probably head down to a decent bar or something like for light drinks.

But still it would be exciting to be visiting the area :)

Well, I don't know where you are from but I haven't yet found a city less scary than Tokyo. Usually you need to be dead drunk and follow the wrong people to get in any kind of trouble.

I mean I have been dead drunk, lost all my belongings but only thing that has happened is I was woken up next day by a call from police telling they have my wallet and asking when I would like to come to pick it up.

Yeah, no problems, eh?

Everyone is probably terrified of that huge "night stick" you carry around.

Or really, really, REALLY stupid.

Yeah. At the end of the day, it’s all about common sense and using the big head and not the small head to think.

Maybe will try the pink saloon instead. Haha just started to Google about information here and there so basically don’t really have a plan. And I only have 2 free days in Tokyo during my work trip.

If time permits, I’m cool for anyone here to probably have a beer:)

What is your budget?? I would advise against pink salon if you can... there is a time and place for it, but why blow your load and money if you can afford better quality?

Is it a foreigner friendly place that cannot speak Japanese ?

The hj is part of the package ?

I'm with ur19877 on this. You really need to give us more specifics if you want good responses.

The plus:

You are not visiting until March and have time to get your act together.

The minus:

Sorry, at least to me, you are sounding like you are a bit desperate, not a good idea in the Land of P4P.

Chin up and keep reading!

Not really desperate. In fact sometimes I would just check out stuff and in the end I don’t even go. But just to have my option. Probably just once a life time experience I Guess. I’m thinking probably to head down to Tokyo hentai or the other place with Milf though.
Budget around 30,000 yen.

Thanks for clarifying. Didn't mean to be discouraging in any way. For ¥ 30,000 you should find an OK experience.

But...

If it's a "once a life time experience," you may want to spend just a little bit more. Granted, I am not speaking from personal experience, however, I've read enough reviews from reliable and experienced TAG folks to advise you to seriously consider Manami. Go to TAG's search and decide for yourself.

a good time can be had with 30K. If you can go upward a bit, then even better. Brown bag it work...it could be worth it...

read the board and see what may fancy your eye.... there are soooo many options..

I would advise a good time at a soapland, but it would cost you some more money to be on the safe side.. and for that budget (around 35K), couldn't guarantee a hot girl...

Or a complete newbie.... like me... i actually gave money to a guy because he said that foreigners needed to pay a deposit that would be given back to them, after ensuring the girl was not hurt during the session... (please spare me the trolling.. LOL)

freak...i had a bitter memories that night..

we take it a bit for granted how to P4P in Tokyo...especially with how much time we spend on this board and through our P4P experiences...

'invaluable' is truly the right word that can be used with the knowledge here...

for the newbies...sure..many here may troll you.. but we also prevent you from being drugged, in the street, with your credit card maxxed out..
