While there are quite a lot of reviews here, I thought I'd add my two cents.

I went yesterday to Hinomaru in the afternoon. Two choices, Jun and someone else, so I went with Jun. It was relatively quiet in there - there might've been a couple of other people, maybe. Only four women were on the board, including the two at the top row (the available ones), and when they moved Jun's picture down, there were three on the bottom and one left on the top.

So I paid for the 20 minute course, the inside tencho shows me to my seat, which is the front couch. I didn't know what to expect when I went in there, and it was a little different than I'd expected. There's sort-of a wall between the two rows of couches/loveseats, with beads or hanging things to kind-of block the view. It's quite dark.

Jun came in and sat down, and we had a couple of minutes of chit-chat, and then she took her panties off and loosened her cover. I will say that in my opinion, she has a pretty awesome body in that oriental way - not a big rack but big nipples, soft skin, not muscular but not fat either. Her legs appeared to be in good shape. Afterwards, with some time left, we were chatting and she asked me where I was staying, and whether they might have a problem with girlfriends coming to visit. I am really, really tempted, but that would really not be possible given my situation. The first rule of mongering should probably be don't shit where you eat, and this would be a dump in the dining room. However, I may go back and ask if she might like to have dinner or something ... hearing about whoever it was who met her at a love hotel here ... I have to say, it's very tempting. Probably a terrible idea. But really tempting.

It was a *great* experience today and I'm very glad I went, and very likely will go back.

Whoever was asking about cleaning up: Jun excused herself afterwards and asked me to wait. She discreetly spit the load in a bunch of tissues and/or wipes and took that (and herself) away, then returned 2-3 minutes later. I expect she rinsed or gargled and cleaned herself. Also, in each couch area, there is a table with an ashtray, some tissues, some wipes, and an alcohol dispenser. I liberally applied alcohol to my hands before we started (she took care of my equipment), and did the same after we were finished. I also sort-of "washed" my face with the alcohol as well, since I went down on her. Lastly, I took extra care to liberally dose my equipment with it several times. That's about all anyone can really do short of using a condom, hopefully it will be enough.

The tenchos were equally nice on the way out, and I left very happy. A great experience. She's an excellent service provider, not just for the sex - she knew all the things to say to put me at ease and make me feel like I was special. She seems really sweet. All that will be enough to bring me back.
 
I found Hinomaru easily enough, made eye contact with the guy on the door whilst approaching and he waved me in. No checking if I spoke Japanese, no need for me to ask if Gaijin were OK. Definitely super foreigner friendly. Got upstairs and the next guy pointed me to the board where there were I think about 6 pictures up. Now, I didn't know whether the girls would look like their pictures at all so I wasn't paying too much attention so when he immediately pointed to Sora and said 'She's new' I thought, 'hey, why not'. The girl in the picture was pretty and slim looking so worth a chance.

To her credit, Sora does look mostly like her picture. Lets say it's about 80% accurate. She's pretty, she does have a slim figure, maybe all they did was just airbrush the pic a little. One thing, when she smiled I think I saw a dead tooth at the front. Not a super big issue for me but might be enough to put some off. Now, here's where I failed a bit. I don't think she spoke much English at all and whilst I can rattle off quite a bit of Japanese, I was a bit bewildered by the experience. I didn't mind the setting. I was at the front and I don't really care whether anyone was behind me watching or not. It just felt strange to walk into the place and then a girl comes over and within 5 minute's she's giving you a BJ. So as stupid as it might seem, I got a bit shy.

Sora did pretty well all things considered. She tried a little to get some conversation but I think she was a little shy and nervous as well. But her BJ technique is excellent and made up for any lack of conversation. I immediately thought of how most escorts just suck to try and get you off quickly whereas Sora actually changed techniques a lot. I came quite fast and I wished I could have held on longer. It was one of the best BJ's I've had in many years. The only one thing that didn't quite go how I wanted is that she didn't make for easy access to play with her breasts or pussy. I had a recent terrible experience at Hinomaru. I saw Ayaka, who was I think drunk. Her physical appearance was nothing to write home about, but to be honest that's not often a dealbreaker for me, I like diversity. The turnoff was her attitude, probably fueled by alcohol. She looked like she was going to puke in my lap. The service was terrible, she laid out a long list of rules (including don't touch my hair), sucked on me briefly, then refused to continue, giving me a handjob instead. It was a real disappointment after great experiences with Ai and Jun. Even the conversation - which was fine, in Japanese, with Ai and Jun, was non-existent with her. I had been looking forward to going back and it was a total let down. I'll go back, but not to her, ever, if I can help it. Really, really bad. Ayaka is worth avoiding in my opinion.

A bit difficult to explain in words, but real, I always get 69 in pink salons, Just go , do it and you will understand the logisitics, or rather balistic.

I have been in pink saloons (admittedly not in Hinomaru), and I don´t see how this is feasible. Explain?
 
Zaphod- if you lie down on the bench seat/sofa lengthwise face up, the girl will assume 69 position above you, using her hand on the back of the couch to prop herself up.

If you are very tall, you have to dangle your legs off the edge of the sofa to get into position, but it's certainly possible.

It would not have been possible in the places I have been to. Maybe Hinomaru is special.
 
The Pink Salon doesn't have to be special. You just need a wide sofa where 2 to 3 people can sit together. When only 1 person use it, you can lay down like on a bed. But if the sofa you use has the size of a plane sit...of course it will be tight. I have a large experience in PSs too but I have never been to a small size sofa. I have never been to Hinomaru myself. Which PSs did you go? From the places that TAG lists, I have been to Jan Jan like 3 times and even those cheap places have large sofas.
 
I have been to the one in the "Golden Gai" in Shibuya; I think it is now defunct. There where 2 places, actually, on the 2nd and 3rd floor. The one on the 3rd floor was truly radical; you got 4 girls in 30 minutes, believe it or not. Then I have been to "Supergirls" in Shimbashi. Don´t know if that still exists, as I said I took a long break from mongering.

Anyway, in none of the pink places I have been, lying down for 69 would have been feasible, unless you are a midget.

You might be thinking of Center-Gai in Shibuya. Golden Gai is a bar district in Shinjuku...

Yes yes, of course. Center gai. There used to be these 2 pink places on top of each other (and both on top of a yakitori shop), but I think they are both gone. Old-timers will remember.

I love Pink Salons that open early, in case I end up by myself after clubbing. She told me that back in the days, it used to open from 5 am when customers were many in early hours but things changed nowadays.

(Does anybody know of a PS in Shinjuku that opens earlier than Hinomaru 9.00?)

I have been to many PSs and I had never entered a place with a stairway before, it felt kinda elegant. As said in the preceding pages, there was the board with three rows: Top: available, mid and low unavailable. Since I was the second visitor and only one old guy arrived before me. I had no options, so midrow doesn't exactly mean "currently unavailable". The board doesn't really help at all in my opinion since the girls are not going to be looking like that everyday and more important, they lack the basic description boobs, waist, hips nor their height.

Maria has no boobs and it petite. I thought I'd give my brief experience/review, since this site directed me towards Hinomaru in the first place.

It was my first time in Tokyo as a whole and therefore also my first time in a Pink Salon. I speak very rudimentary pigeon Japanese, but the barker outside beckoned me in nonetheless. I went early-ish in the day so I had a choice of two, Jun and Hana. I went with Hana this time, but based on other reviews here it sounds like next time I go I should go with Jun.

Anyway, having read the postings about PSs in general I was prepared for the photos not matching 100% with reality but that's not to say I was disappointed. Maybe it was because it was my first time in a PS, or maybe because I think Japanese women in general are awesome, but I thought Hana was cute. I'm not one to rate looks as my face looks like a sack of dented bells (not really that bad, I just have self-esteem issues.)

I personally find 30 mins course too short. My minimun preference is 40mins to a max of 80 mins depending on the day and how I'm feeling. Pink Salon girls use the cooking clock timer countdown. Because I tend to last long most of the girls always tell me "ato go fun" which means other 5 minutes left, I hate that, so I may be asking for "enchou" which means extension. If you think that you were fast and are concerned about timing, you can ask the girl: "ato nan-fun" which means how long do I have remaining and she will tell you...or just pick her cooking timer to see how much you got left.
 
Anyone in Tokyo right now? I know this is a strange question to ask but im a nervous kinda guy and first time Willing to try PS, would anyone with experience wanna go with me?
 
Simple guide:

1.- Pick a PS gaijin friendly (from the ones I have read here I know by myself that Hinomaru is better than JanJan).
2.- There will be different rates, pick the most expensive so you can get all the available services or if you want to go almost one day after another keep trying each different course until you can decide what you like most.
3.-This can be first than the above but if you can choose a girl that you like from the board, pick one.

Beyond that everything else will be carried out by the lady, just sit and enjoy. The touts know very well what the shop offers, and they just get guys in. Once you approach talk range to one they will either point you to get in or talk to you if can speak Japanese, the moment you enter you will be on the go and nothing shall stop your adventure.

I will certainly will be around Tokyo next weekend but I have never taken somebody else with me because its pretty simple and no group activities are available.

Also, I think walking in with a group of gaijins who invariably be noisy and break the wa is not something the touts or anybody else wants. I am not sure the tout would even approach you when you turn up as a group. Mind you, these are not Nigerians.
 
By group I meant to say that two friends wont be able to enter a same room or seat together with one lady each.

I simply am completely new to the scene and very hesitant to even approach these places alone. If my friends back home were with me this trip I would be going with them, as it would make me feel more relaxed, is all.

Secondly, I am not 100% gaijin. I am of Japanese descent but grew up in a western country, I speak basic conversational Japanese (virtually without accent), so not sure if this would open up opportunity for someone here to access non-foreigner places if I was there as well.
 
I knew some of Japanese parents born in America but they are all back in the US now, their Japanese didnt sound native, any Japanese can notice that.
