Hi everyone,

Pan, poly semi-asian (Jungle Asian fyi) female visiting Japan in October and lurking and exploring the idea of doing something fabulous. Just kinda getting a feel and educating myself with information. This a very interesting website. My Japanese is pretty meh at the moment. Do I get points for being able to ask where the bathroom is? ^_^

Welcome. My first time to Japan my Japanese was nil. All transportation has romanized characters, so not so hard to move around. You can always point to the food you want to eat either in the menu or in the window with the fake food. Just do the research before you come and you'll be fine.

Octobers a great time of year, good weather, not to hot. Lots to do, will you travel the country or stick around the cities, worth checking out the coast and mountins if you have the time
