What do you think the appeal of Hostess bars/clubs are to men in Japan, in general? My own opinion is those men just enjoy drinking in the company of a pretty girl sitting next to them attentively listening to them. As for me, I’d rather spend all that money on quality one-to-one sexual activity with a woman instead; especially since I don’t drink alcohol and dislike being in an environment where people are smoking. But I want to hear your ideas.

Also, to the women out there, do you think the motivations women who go to Host bars/clubs are, in general, the same as a Hostess bar/club is for men? And what options do women in Japan have for receiving sexual services from a man (or woman) such as the majority of ones offered to men on this site?

Well, yeah. I hope that is the main appeal of the hostess clubs for men as that is exactly what those hostess clubs offer for men.

I don't like sky diving. For me the act of jumping out of a perfectly well functioning air plane is just idiotic and to pay money for that? But do you see me going to sky diving forums telling that to them? That was a rhetorical question, by the way.

True. Good point. Maybe my first question is pointless. Lol. But I’m still interested in hearing what sexual services are available for women in Tokyo. I have a good friend who’s in a sexless marriage in southern Japan and occasionally comes to Tokyo for fun and we talked one time about the topic of what sexual services are available to a foreign woman here who speaks Japanese, but neither of us had any clue what her options would be in Tokyo regarding that.

A quick, short, dirty answer - Go to a happening bar. Unless she's shy, then don't.

If she's into women, there are some services for women, by women... I think we have a review around here for that already.

As far as a woman getting serviced by a man, yes, it exists.

Thanks very much for that info. She is basically straight, but somewhat Bi-curious, so a woman by woman service might be a possibility for her. And yes, she’s pretty shy and would rather meet a man discreetly and pay for sex than take her chances with meeting someone at a club or a happening bar. So thanks for those links, I’ll pass the info along to her. （╹◡╹）
