Hi guys,

Suppose I pop in (in person) in a ホテヘル place without previous booking (was thinking for example about nyandafull in Ikebukuro or Happy Berry, etc) so I have a conversation with the tencho in Japanese (I am fluent with it) and he "accepts" me and shows me a few pictures. Now, as I am going to depart with a fair amount of money and as there are many other similar places available, to be honest I don't want to settle with a girl I am not convinced about. So suppose there is no girl I am convinced about among the ones the tencho shows me....

1) Based on your experience, is it OK to ask if I come back later there will be more availability (of different girls) and, if possible, "book" the other girl for a certain time? (of course this assumes that there are other girls - apart from the ones in the photos shown to me - that accept gaijins).
2) Is there a 'polite' way to "refuse" the service for today because none of the available girls are convincing for me, without blowing the option to come back to the shop another day? Or if I refuse the service once, is better I don't go back to the shop?

Any comment based on your experience would be greatly welcomed.

Definitely! In fact, many hotel health and other shops specifically state on their websites that they welcome people to come in just to check out their staff photographs. But with any shop other than the less than legitimate ones a sketchy tout may lead you to in Kabukicho, it's never a problem in my experience. You can even ask to see photos of providers not available that day, ask about the "system", which is actually quite helpful if the shop specializes in things out of the ordinary...

of course you as a customer can decline an offer from the tencho. When I spaek with deriheru provider JK-Style or OL-Style and they do not have the girl available I selected via their website, it is always okay to decline. They always treat me nicely afterwards. Even when I had to cancel an appointment from my side, they still accept me as customer (even though they told me if I do it one more time, they might not cater to me anymore.

Sometimes if you look at their webpage on lets say your phone and ask for such and such girl when she comes at a later time, that's cool too. One time I had a girl cancel her working day at Pururungang and they said it was ok if I wanted no replacements and wouldn't "penalize" me. In the case of Hotel Health, they will always provide membership cards and the more you come, it will come to a point where you can be awarded with upgrades that come with cheaper prices. Happy Berry is very easy with their membership upgrades and in my experience, they have never faked their photos and the girls they provide are always 100% accurate.
