Welcome Nomi... go to the classified ads section and you can see providers that are advertising here. It's not free, I believe, but TAG Manager can confirm details of that. Depending on how much you want to work and location, I think this forum would be a really good place for you to start. There are reviews of the providers here so you can see how TAG members interact with providers and that would give you a general idea on how things work. Of course there are bars in Tokyo and elsewhere in Japan - but you are just another person fishing with more competition... R2 and Oak Door were probably most popular spots, but that could have changed by now. Oak Door is part of the Hyatt in Roppongi Hills.. I don't have any experience in Osaka outside of a couple agencies there so not sure.
Another possible alternative is Universe Club... they are not an escort agency but a paid dating type of club... best not to let them know you are an escort, but you can be a Class D which means you can accept intimate time for a room fee that's discussed between you and person on date after lunch or dinner - schedule of mutual agreement. I don't believe women have to pay to become members. I'm not sure how this club is for getting dates, other's may be able to shed more light on that.

Welcome ! Probably the best way is to invest first a small amount here for an ad , apparently they work well since many escorts repeat when they are back to Tokyo (or even live here).

also search the forum. I seem to remember quite a few threads like this where helpful advice was given. I think European girls can do quite well in Japan, especially if you know how to market to the locals.

I’m confused. Are you visiting Japan, or will you be based in Japan? Because it sounds like you want to offer incalls at a regular hotel. I could have misunderstood.

Compared to Singapore and Hong Kong, Japan is not as busy for foreign escorts. I don’t believe investing in incall would be a good idea. There are lots of love hotels in Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ikebukuro that clients can rent for 2-3 hours. Unless you speak Japanese, you may have an issue talking to the hotel staff.. but that’s about it.

Hello Nomi, it sounds like you are still in the "idea" phase of coming to Japan to be a provider for a couple weeks. Is this correct ? If yes, then may I suggest that you formulate a more concrete plan which should allow you to come up with a listing of questions that can then be asked all at once and then those that provide answers to those questions would be more efficient. At this rate, it will burn lots of time and much back and forth... merely a suggestion of course... are you planning on spending 2 weeks in Tokyo or also traveling around.. What rate are you looking to charge per hour, do you plan on having a "social" rate, these bits of information as well as a well thought out list of questions would be a great start for you to formulate your plan and goals once you arrive to Japan - should you decide to proceed....

I advertised on backpage times ago ... I do not want to travel blind to Japan. I want to clarify before i make a trip. the trip is expensive. if I can only switch to internet advertising then it will be hard and now where backpage is not longer existed:-( I need other options
it is not just a Idea it was plant in the next few months! but now I have to think about and get informations about the options in Japan

If you dont speak the language, there are not many freelance places.

You can try R2. Motown if you’re desperate maybe.

The other freelance places seem dead from what i’ve heard. The local ones require basic japanese.
Of course, anywhere can be a freelance place if you are brave enough, when i just arrived in Japan all i had to do was walk around in a revealing dress around Ikebukuro and guys would offer me their help, i didn’t have to say anything or speak Japanese. Of course, those are regular guys and not high ballers, but i got some smaller daddies there in my pre TAG days.

For internet, TAG is the main and its not free.

Can hit up seeking arrangements, craigslist japan and massage republic but expect some timewasters.

Some hotels are ok with clients going to your room others are very much not ok with it. The rooms tend to be real small anyway. Japan has a plethora of cheap love hotels that you can meet clients at, and they (the clients) are usually kosher with paying that fee on top of paying your fee since that is the norm here in Japan.

I'm also from Europe and in Tokyo now, as I noticed already sites are much better than bars. As it was mentioned here R2 and oak door, I've been in them both and most of visitors are just couples, and in R2 there are dozens of other girls and even though I'm blonde as you, it's not so easy coz the place is dark and can be really crowded. But there are many bars in roppongi, possible to find something interesting in there
Anyway country is amazing so definitely it worth visiting and trying

Ok back to topic: Lady, if you want to work as an indie first spend some time looking at their ads on this site, and their own websites. You will learn a lot. Waiting for clients at a bar like R2 is an option but you may wait a long time and when it comes to the money talk , it’s rather awkward (not to mention many guys will stop the discussion at that point). Just my 2 yen of course.

Just for a little background on the P4P scene in Japan since it seems like you have not been here before...

Despite Japan's image as a P4P destination there are basically no streetwalkers here. And independent providers looking to find clients in bars almost exclusively are in places where the clientele are predominantly not Japanese.

I would expect that your best access to real clients would be on-line.
