Can anyone recommend a decent place to take a date for dinner in Ikebukuro? It doesn't need to be anything up scale. Izakaya is ok. However, I'd like to avoid the chains like Tengu simply because of the noise. I'd like to be able to have a conversation.

They usually have super fresh uni. And they also have the cutouts under the tables, if you have bad knees.
