I would have to agree with Exnocomment's thoughts on the matter, especially if you're interested in hooking up with Japanese women. Consider taking part in any kind of shops for example, I would think you would benefit greatly if you took your time to learn about all the different kinds and the manners/etiquette involved when visiting said shops. It would help you to get the best experiences possible and maybe even help you discover new things that you didn't know you were totally into.

 

@AndreasAZ - Fwiiw, I also agree with @Exnocomment's perspective. In my life I have spent time in about 50 countries and have visited the majority of the world's "great cities", and Japan and Tokyo are by far my favorites in both categories. Imo, it would be madly foolish to throw away the opportunity your stay represents by minimizing your contact with the local culture.

That is not to say that you will necessarily like it. There are those who find it uniquely charming and almost addictive but also those who find it irritating or even repulsive...depends on you. But if you don't dig in deep enough to discover Japan's/Tokyo's quirky character, you will never know.

As for how to best dispose of your budget for adult fun, I have little to add to the several bits of excellent advice in the posts above. As @Mischa Maxwell and @Anna Summer mention, the best option depends a lot on your goals (purely sexual or also partly social) and what factors are important to you (appearance, personality, skill, variety, safety...).

As AliceInWonderland has mentioned, being a "regular" may get you better service, but it's not a guarantee. So if the service was just average at best, I'm not sure if I'd be willing to continue on unless there's something about the girl or establishment that you really like.

Personally I've only experienced 2 sessions in Japan with one of them not comfortable with meeting with foreigners, but since I'm technically Japanese (born in raised outside of Japan) and know some Japanese, I was still able book said session. But I've read and heard enough to know that looking like a foreigner and having limited knowledge in Japanese will limit your options. If visiting a shop, I've heard people getting a "wingman" who is Japanese to help get their foot in the door sometimes works. How the arrangement works (i.e. do you pay for the wingman's session, does he partake at all) varies.
