Easier for some than others, but how do you initiate sex with your SO, and what is your success rate?

Related to that, what is the ratio that you initiate sex compared to him or her initiating sex?

Even without much experience i know the answers.

Steps to initiate (in a marriage):
- take her out on date night to expensive restaurant
- afterwards at home, try starting things by kissing and touching/groping. after she pushes you away, you're meant to say "let's have sex, it's been soo long" (or some other persuasive talk).
success rate: 0%

I've been usually the one to initiate in relationships, and i'm not sure about my succes rate but i've often gotten an "i'm tired" back.

I'm getting the feeling they should put me in one of those "spot the crossdresser" tests.

Do NOT EVER give up any details about whoever that person was or the sex-starved demon in me will force me to hunt him down and "get mideveal on his ass" for days - while asking him "You tired now, bro?"
 
This one's easy to answer since I've done so before.:cool:

The only time I can recall when my wife initiated action was when I was just about to go into the hospital for a month long stay, double knee replacement-too much running!!! Three nights in a row!

Normally, it goes like this...

First of all, she DEMANDS a back and foot massage as a prelude, no, as both a prelude and a condition of the night's intimacy. I have to initiate the massage.

Secondly-So, when I am in the mood, I start the back massage. Then, most of the time, she says, "Not tonight, tomorrow, pinky promise."

Fortunately, she always keeps her pinky promise. Knowing this, I try to time my moods and start the massage the evening prior to the actual desired evening.

I think when the woman initiates and the guy says he is tired or not in the mood... it could be because some guys enjoy the initiating... I'm sure other's can confirm or deny my guess here. I've had relationships with both types... and the ones where the woman initiates are much more enjoyable (especially if she is adventurous :D) but for the men that like to initiate and the woman acts as a damsel... then that could be interesting as well... I also know the frustration of SO not in the mood - frustrating as can be... that's one of the reasons she is my Ex-Wife... Not the only reason of course... but it was a factor in the divorce..

As long as you continue to create your Wonderland... I'm sure there will be a que of mad hatters... :p

I think it was just a stressing job and some issues related to that. Also if i wouldn't initiate he wouldn't either so it wasn't the hunting.

But i'm sure i may be too much for some guys, which is why i don't do monogamy anymore (and more different experiences and fun).
I had an ex with very decent stamina and hunger for sex, but even he told me once that i was putting too much pressure on him >.<

So now i try to not put pressure on anyone and to share the fun :)

I don't agree on that. It is true that for every hot girl there is a guy who is totally tired of her shit, but that doesn't say he is tired of fucking her.

When I was in a relationship, cooking a meal and wearing a dress with cleavage was usually the answer if I wanted to initiate sex.

For him to initiate sex was generally my ex jumping in the shower and then asking me to ‘come and wash his back’.

We did have slightly mismatched sex drives, in that mine was much higher than his. It’s probably for the best that he has an older girlfriend now and I’m an escort. :)

used to be the other way around but it's better this way

as of "how ?" it's contextual
