Japanese Women and Masculine Western Men/Men Over 30

I've heard from several people that Japanese women are only attracted to Western men who are boyish-looking/under 30. Do you guys think this is true? Do Japanese women tend to prefer more feminine men? An interesting issue.
 
I think there are difinitly some JPN girls who feel that way. Remember all the anime guys are very feminine looking and that is a huge part of the culture especially for younger women. I would also say this doesnt only pertain to western or gaijin guys, it includes Japanese as well. Some women just prefer the metro sexual type guy over the rough/masc type.

Dont let anyone tell you you cant find a nice looking Japanese girl if your over 30. That a bogus, completely false statement. Some Japanese women love older guys... of course it helps if they they are decent looking. Even better if they have a good job/business making a boatload of cash!
 
It also depends on what you are looking for. If you want an early-20s high-fashion gorgeous girl, she's unlikely to be interested in western guys, much less older ones, unless you are very well off and very attractive.

If you are okay with late 20s/early 30s Japanese women, have a decent job and are decently attractive, you'll practically be swatting them away like flies.
 
and if you go into late 30's territory you will have to beat them away with sticks.

There's a little something for everyone. I regularly see older gentlemen out with ladies that look like they are half their age. My definition of 'older' is north of 55 years old. Then there are some gentlemen who truly don't show their true age and it's hard to tell.

In the opposite, I've seen some older ladies out with younger men that are also half their age. It goes both ways...

For older Japanese men, I see them with younger Chinese, Korean and Filipino women. In some other cases, I see them with Eastern European women... it really varies.
 
For a italian gentlemen over 30 lost in Tachikawa City ! Do you have good deal or a nice adress??

To a westerner, many asian ladies look much younger than their real age. I work on the 10 year principal. Depending on their appearance thay are either likely to be 10 years younger or 10 years older than they actually are. If you guess within that range I think that you're doing well. For instance, when my wife was in her 30's she was regularly asked for age ID and bus conductors often automatically went to charge her student fare etc.

Definitely the case for me. Is the reverse true for their perceptions of us? I.e., do they view a 30 year old of Dutch descent looking 45, or can they more accurately gauge our age?
 
As a 30ish whitey I have found that Japanese girls overestimate my age by 5-10 years, while Chinese girls guess it exactly.
