Hi everybody, hopefully someone here can help -- does anyone have recent (in Corona times) experience meeting with an AV star as a foreigner? After 3 years I'm leaving Japan this month and that experience, in a soapland or delivery health, is on my bucket list.
I was looking at websites like avfuzoku so I'm aware many, many actresses are available, and I'm definitely not super picky as to notoriety, but I'm not confident in my Japanese ability and most places I've seen only seem to have booking by phone. I can't hide being a foreigner in person and although I can understand enough Japanese to carry out the booking process, I believe, I'm worried I might be a bit too nervous talking on the phone and might be rejected. If anyone knows of particular places in Yoshiwara or otherwise where they could definitely meet AV stars please tell me your experience. I'm willing to do a lot of studying before I make a call if I have to, (studying for n3 jlpt) but I'd rather avoid phone calls, so please let me know what is possible, who you met, how you did it, etc.

She turns 41 this year, still looks good though… that Yoshiwara age of 25 on the site though.
Whenever Japan opens up again, she’s definitely one I want to repeat with.
But this shop is not for foreigners (my friend asked previously), I would like to try these kind of "esthe" style soap but none of them welcome foreigners.

There are no recent reports and there's no way to predict what things will be like in March next year.
Currently, I don't see any explicit foreigner rule, but A) it's not always shown clearly and B) shops change their mood from time to time on who they'll accept.
(If you're not coming until March, learn some basic Japanese and that will increase your chances by a wide margin in some cases where only basic Japanese is necessary to get in the door...)
Thanks for the reply! I have been studying Japanese for years so I have a decent knowledge of Japanese. Just not the confidence! I'll keep an eye on this thread in case other foreigners go

i tried to get in, the guys seem to think i am Japanese until i spoke and is a NO, i believe LUX is also Japanese only if you can convince them.
