I fully understand what you are trying to achieve on this board, but as a recent new member I find it to be over moderated to the point that the style of posts/advertisements, are heavily biased towards foreigners and this leaves me confused as to if this board really has anything to do with Japan, in effect Japan and its culture appears to have been lost in over moderated forums.

You do realise this forum is for foreigners who can't speak Japanese, right?

I'm totally lost on what you are trying to say.... Did you bother to understand the theme of this site?

Biased towards foreigners? That's basically the point.

This is a English-based site for people visiting Japan that want to enjoy adult activities -- The members of this site come from all over the world and English is the universal language for travel and information sharing.

If you can't grasp the concept of what the purpose of TAG is, then maybe you need to go find another site that's in Japanese. :)

But this is Japan and the bias hides the reality of what Japan is about.

So why hide the reality of what Japan is about, I mean I came here and was shocked to find that it really glosses over what Japan is about, and the culture, many do not understand the culture and or the thinking behind many of the services provided in Japan.

The end result is that visitors obtain a distorted view of Japan from the message board.

He ranted about Annas new classified ad, cause a non japanese lady dared to offer her company on this board. The unnecessary and at least partially rude comments as well as all other related to this have since then been removed from the thread (in reference to this very thread I believe without any notification to the authors, not sure if there was one to be expected ).
I believe this is what he is about now. And I agree 100% with the measures taken.

So what is Japan about in your opinion?

Thanks - we saw those and actually Karen sent him a lengthy counseling message to explain what the issues with his posts were.

Edit: And the rest of the replies from other people weren't deleted, they were just moved. I did not issue a notification for those when it was done. (at least I don't think I did...)

Sorry!! But Karen actually failed to explain why my posts were deleted, she just past judgement on my posts without an explanation.

Still waiting on a reply.

If classified ads/posts are not to be replied to, or commented on, why not lock them after they have been created?

You can delete this after you have read this, would not want to derail the thread.

Classified ads is a place for providers of any kind to get in contact with people INTERESTED in their service. How cluttered do you think those threads would be if everyone just stated that they are not interested in that service or prefer eating chocolate ice over anything else?

If you have nothing to add that either benefits the provider or other readers, then don't reply there. There are other forums on this board where you can discuss your preference in women or the advantages of dating Japanese in Japan. The ad of a service provider however is no such place.

My point was that Japanese men crave foreign women and will pay their inflated fees.

If the adds are not for discussion then I feel it better that they are locked, then they can use the PM service for contact purposes.

There are so many people who travel to Japan who don't like the local women.
Lots of American businessmen for example who also pay our "inflated" fees which are the same as soaplands so the same as quality Japanese providers.
Also there are many guys from other Asian countries looking on TAG who may be into exotic westerners, many guys who have lived in Japan for so long that they wanna try something different than the local flavors.
And yes, there are also Japanese guys who understand English who look on TAG and book us, so this is also a place where they can do that. It's not easy to advertise as an independent on Japanese websites.
TAG has a variation of women from different countries advertising here, both Japanese, European and Australian and traveling working girls from around the world and that makes it a fun place full of viarity.

I kinda feel like you pick on me and especially me daring to offer my service in Japan as a foreigner. (Note: I'm on this forum since 2014.)
You also seem to have not much knowledge of this business in general. If our rates are so inflated as you state, we would probably adjust to the market. There are always two sides. Someone who offers a service and someone who specifically searches for it.
If you and your wife like 158cm/42kg Japanese woman, the please take her to a soapland and be happy with it.

You also forget that many service places are still against foreigners here in Japan. Besides that, there are plenty of reviews from Japanese providers. We foreign escorts are just a small but very appreciated part of TAG.

Mmm, do the escorts themselves not get a say in who they advertise to? You do realise that all of the escorts will have already considered the clientele that they wish to market themselves to, right?

You're trying to teach your grandmother how to suck eggs here.

My wife and I are not traveling to Japan we already live here, my wife is bi-curious and is more interested
in Japanese women who are of the same build and height as she is and for reference the photo in my avatar
is my wife.

We came here fully expecting to find some thing that would appeal to her, but instead with the style of the
forum and the posts being made I feel like I have left Japan.

The majority of reviews here are about Japanese girls and shops.
There are two full Japanese girls and a half Japanese girl who advertise on this website, there are three western girls who steadily live here and a bunch of travelers advertising here.
It's super difficult to find un shady places to work as a foreign woman, so we really need this place.

Do you really have trouble finding any reviews and contact information of Japanese women here? Then you probably just don't navigate the forum right. Like i said before, the majority of reviews are about Japanese girls and half the women advertising here are Japanese.

We have found the site difficult to navigate, but without sounding rude, we are more interested in women
like my wife, its her preference, she will even dismiss a girl if she is taller than her, and they must be of a
similar build and weight.

I still fail to see how I was rude.

I made an observation and I was judged for it, when I had no knowledge that it was not permitted.

Personally I don't like French cuisine. However it never came into my mind to walk into every French restaurant I pass to tell them, that they better close here as this is Japan and I really prefer Japanese food.
But I'm sure you do that regularly.

This is not a restaurant, its a message board and the purpose of a message board is to make posts based
on the subjects being discussed, I merely suggested that I felt it would be more appropriate for a foreign
escort to appeal to Japanese men, as we are in Japan and most foreign men who come to Japan want to
try Japanese.

I mean you do not visit Japan to eat Mexican food do you?

That doesn't make sense, people don't come here exclusively for the women. I have met so many foreign guys here who say they don't like Japanese women.
And I live here and i don't always eat Japanese food either. Variation is important, especially if you're somewhere for the long run.
And who are you to say we should advertise to? Better we decide that for ourselves, if people don't book us its our problem.
I suggest you check out the review section (mostly Japanese providers reviewed).

In most cases my reasons to come to Japan are not related to food. As someone who has spent extended periods in Japan and comes here regularly however I feel free to eat whatever I like and do not restrict myself to Japanese food.

I don't know why you think that most clients of our ladies here are tourists. I wouldn't be surprised if the opposite was true and it's at least frequent visitors.

To follow up your argument, just visit a Mexican restaurant in Tokyo. I'm sure you will find plenty of foreigners there.

I very rarely see any foreigners, and since getting married I prefer Japanese women.

Sorry!! But I really feel I should not contribute any more to this board, I feel my long term experience of Japan
would be better served answering private messages from those who have posted on the board and feel they never
received the answers they were looking for.
