Seems like a sizzling hot vocab of the year.
I wonder those angry ladies against "feminism", don't they want loving touch by their partner, or a even a lover!?? Don't they have sex with their partners? Don't they want to wear make up and look great just like other girls? Don't they want to wear provocative, sexy dress, just like other girls?

Why are they so angry??? Ladies are born ladies. They can't be men!!!

They want equality?

They can't pee like men??? lol.

I just don't get it.

I enjoy every bit as a woman. I love getting arroused by hot glances, I love guys looking at me, like men are almost drilling imaging my hot body, underneith my clothes.

I love being touched by a man.
By the face saying, "you're so beautiful"
I love men say "I love your hot body"

I love to see, a guy's cock gets tent up undernieth his trousers, discovered that at the office.lol.
I love having a guy, looking at me like, wow you're so hot! in the office.

I love when guys assist me some work.

What's wrong with that???

Why they are so angry? Why they don't want to be played with their tits? They don't let their partner play with them? Or too small and not happy about them??

Did Emma Watson give up being a straight girl?

If a les woman being angry, I understand.

But why women are so angry???

Embrace your sex and be happy!!

Any thoughts???

I don't know which part of your post to respond to, haha.
Honestly don't have any valuable feedback here....

I assumed that Feminism is about women's rights... socially, politically, economically... etc.

Is Feminism connected to sexuality? Maybe, maybe not... I think people interpret differently on a personal level

Did Emma Watson give up being a straight girl?

All I hear about Emma these days is the backlash over her new film "Beauty and the Beast" -- lots of flack over that movie for nothing (in my opinion).

I think you're mixing feminism with femininity

feminism is the ideology promoting equal rights for both genders

femininity is what would define being a woman, all kind of attributes or attitudes. (女らしさ ?)

I don't understand why posing for a magazine would be against the feminism. people are going nuts, feminism should be about giving more rights to women, not about denying them the right to show their femininity.

I was more of "reading behind" their anger against feminism. I'm sure, they are more abt things you mentioned, but think of what women are...

I'm more of traditional side, as I still think, men are more advanced from my experience.

About Emma, she still has that beauty, but I think she's getting off track. So, you think her latest film, was nothing special? I think she'd better study to become a lawyer.

I don't know which part of your post to respond to, haha.

Yes, I basically think they are act against >women's rights... socially, politically economically... etc.

I was curious about their reality. With their partner.
aren't they happy born as a woman?

Those should be more of "Malala's passion.
She has a real shout of female rights.

I thought by wearing very feminine style clothes, with heavy make up, is not convincing of act against "feminism". If they want equality like men, they should wear light make up, not abusing her feminity, beauty too much. Not have much sexual contact with men. Coz when a woman get fucked, she admits she's a woman. Different from men.
More womany style, they get pointed out as" see, you're a woman. Shut up!".
If she were Terresa May, it's more convincing, though.

I think EW is a bit off track. She should take PHD or so to have her say more as a specialist, or otherwise, she's an activist, or an emotional entertainer...

Her lastest film wasn't so impressing? See...

Thanks for clearing that,.though.

I'm more curious beyond feminism. It is a confusing word with "feminity", but I think women want equal rights, but they can't get it, coz that's the way human are, and things are improving slowly of having a female Prime Minister around the globe, female top executives, female conductors, female police head executive officers,
don't see female constructors wearing a helmet at construction sites, yet. Only onsite support staffs, I believe, Women want more to be respected, treated by no gender...

For those can do, just do it.

But they still have women's body.

Enjoying as a woman, behind an act against feminism, is still not convincing...

If pausing requires such erotic pause on a regular fashion magazine, then it's a bit concern, but pausing for men's magazine... they are getting good money in return, so why should be angry for? I didn't get to see the trigger magazine, so I can't see the point of their anger..pity...

I do get uncomfortable, and irritated when models, tv entertainers gets in bikini, or overy exposed clothes on average hours TV commercials. I was embarrassed to watch that in front of my parents for a young late teens or early 20's girls, big fake boobs changing clothes into bikini scenes type..Those could be issued against female rights...But she gets paid well...shouldn't be too much issue, then...lol.

confusing...

Real feminism, at least in my opinion, is the belief that both men and women should have the same equal rights and opportunities as each other. It's also about supporting other women's decisions, even if they're different from your own. It's not a movement to overpower men or become like men physically.

If someone claims to be a feminist, and thinks women are better than men or that some women have less worth than other women, they're not actually feminists. The people who take it out of context are the reason why feminism can have such a bad reputation and has caused a lot of controversy over the years.

Women are just as powerful and wonderful as men. There shouldn't be a competition between the two sexes.

There are different ways women can feel empowerment, and there's no need to bash other women if their life/career/fashion choices are not the same as their own. If a woman finds empowerment when she doesn't wear cosmetics and saves her V-card until marriage.. great. If she finds empowerment through beauty enhancements and sexwork.. that's great too.

You're so broad minded. Amazing!!
Thanks for sharing your perspectives.

Many feminists happily date men. The stereotype of feminist = lesbian or "man-hater" is very outdated. There are plenty of male feminists who date female feminists.

No, some of them do not. Not all women enjoy feeling that they need to cover ever blemish on their skin to be seen as attractive or professional.

Have you ever considered why men look ok without make-up but women often look pale and tired? You are socially conditioned to think that. Consider how over the top "everyday" (by some people's standards) make-up for women can look on men: link.

Many women also do not want to be seen as primarily sexual objects catering to male gaze and reject sexy clothes for this reason. They also believe this leads to rape culture and holds women back from fulfilling their intellectual potential.

Some "choice" feminists argue that things they choose to do (such as sexy clothes or make-up) are empowering. This is the type of feminism that Emma Watson subscribes to.

They are angry because they are tired of finding inequality everywhere in their daily lives. They don't want to be men. Some feminists strive more for equality amongst the genders while others focus solely on women's rights.

The drive towards improving women's rights does not necessarily mean a rejection of all things feminine, but an acceptance and appreciation of the difference between men and women.

Women, for example, are able to bear children. Some areas of feminism focus on better career support for women who have given birth.

If you are happy in these situations, then nothing. Other women want to be seen as more than only a sexual object though.

One area that seems to be overlooked about feminism a lot though, is embracing women's sexuality. Women are sexual objects too, as you well describe, but so much of our sexual culture focuses on the male gaze and ignores that women can be physically aroused by men too.

Part of previous feminism waves included wide-spread of the contraceptive pill that allowed women to take control of their fertilty and fully embrace their sexuality.

Feminists come in all shapes and sizes. As far as I know, EW is still straight.

The flack was because she had preciously criticised Beyoncé for "catering to the male gaze" and being a bad feminist because of this. As the face of the UN's "He For She" femisim campaign, many felt that her words were inappropriate and hypocritical considering her photo that showed part of her breasts (while promoting a Disney movie). Some of the themes in "Beauty and the Beast" are not feminist to many and EW has poorly tried to justify her choice in the role.

Why anger is a bad thing? It would be difficult to take feminists seriously if they were not passionate about their issue. Black women in particular often find their issues dismissed when they are labelled as "angry". If you are constantly being treated inequally, then of course you will be angry.

It's worth considering that feminism is often misrepresented in the mainstream media, making it seem that feminists get very angry over small inconsequential inequalities. The larger ideas are often ignored and also the acknowledgement that many small inequalities add up to a much larger picture and feeling of being undervalued.

Many activists for a wide range of issues can come across as a bunch of complainers to many who haven't taken time to read the key literature pieces or understand their views in context. As feminism is mostly seen as something concerning select women only, many men and women are ignorant of what it actually means and how it affects them personally.

A lot of women's successes in history have been wrongly attributed to men or ignored. Women also had a lot fewer opportunities than men, been resigned to housework and childcare, and often receiving less education and opportunities soley based on their gender.

EW has already attended Brown University and has more money than she could ever need.

Feminists are for women's rights, not against them. Many basic rights, such as voting or the ability to say "no" to unwanted sexual advances were earned by feminism. For example, it was legal until 1990 for a husband to rape his wife in the UK (and still is in many countries) as marriage was seen as an agreement to all future sexual advances. Without feminism this would still be legal and acceptable.

Transgender acceptance is very high in feminist circles. The feminists who are unhappy being women no doubt change to men. This is a very small percentage though. The majority of female feminists are quite happy being women.

Malala is a self-proclaimed feminist.

Some women believe that by being feminists it is their choice to wear make-up and dress as they please, while others disagree.

Of course, when a woman has sex with a man in a traditional sense she does it as a woman. There is nothing wrong with this in most feminist's eyes and they do not shy away from this fact.

Theresa May has said that she will not raise feminism topics with Donald Trump and that she considers just being present in the same room to be enough. As there as so few women in high positions and not all of them speak out on feminist issues, if is important that anyone in the public eye, such as EW, use their voice and influence. After the Harry Potter movies, EW in particular has a large young male and female audience.

She is an activist trying to encourage more men to embrace feminism. While a PhD would perhaps be useful, she is educating herself by egaging notable feminists like bell hooks in conversation and learning about feminism and intersectionality.

There are women who work on contruction sites, though this is not common as men tend to be stronger than women over the age of 12. There are many things that set men and women apart but it does mean they can't be equal where possible.

EW posed for Vanity Fair, a magazine read by men and women, though a strange choice to promote a children's film.

Regarding topless models in general, they promote unrealistic body images (the most beautiful women of the country with photoshop on top).

Why does it make you uncomfortable?

The problem that some feminists see with this "choice" feminism is that it ignores that choices are not made in a vacuum. The choices of one woman to sell herself as a sexual object means that other women can potentially be seen as sexual objects too, against their wishes.

The idea to automatically support other women's decisions is also sexist. Why would women automatically get a pass because of their gender but the ideas and actions of men with regards to feminism need to scrutinised? In a truly equal society the actions of everyone can be questioned.

Feminism means different things for different people and there are different branches, such as libfem and radfem. Not all of this is compatible and it does not make anyone less of a feminist if it is incompatible with someone else's.

The bad reputation of feminism is perhaps more to do with the challenging of deep rooted society ideas. No one wants to seem themselves as the bad guy and so feminism gets the blame instead.

The suffragette movement for votes for women used many tactics that would be described as terrorism in today's world, such a bombing famous landmarks.

The problem many feminists find in the "empowerment" argument is that it oftens ends up justifying the parts of society that women suffer from, such as the pressure from the beauty industry to wear make-up daily. It's ok to be a "guilty feminist" and admit that you grew up in a society in which make-up is valued and you like it, but labelling it as "empowering" just makes room for the pressure from the beauty industry to grow and produce more and more unrealistic expectations.

Saving a woman's virginity until marriage might feel empowering for her, but to other women it can feel that they status is lowered for not doing this and having "dirtied" themselves with premarital sex. If the woman is doing it out of choice instead of society pressure, but the outcome of serving the values of men who put a prize on virginity, is it really a feminist act?

The first wave of feminism focused on the liberation of women from the home and sexual liberation. If a woman knowing chooses things that are against this and with the knowledge that it is upholding the patriarchy that enforces these ideas, is this a feminist choice?

Having the ability to choose is without doubt an important aspect of feminism, but that does not mean that everything a woman might choose to do is feminist.

Thank you J.Blair, for your precious time, and sharing your hot thoughts, discussion by bringing up many cases of "feminism". So educational. Truely appreciated.

Thank God,,I'm rather a simple woman's life person, compared to against "feminism" type of ladies...have no trouble with office life, whereever I go. I accept that, appreciate that. I take things what I find it's right to me. I trigger what I find right to me. If I find not fair, don't stick with it. Find something that I feel right, and deep down I know so.

Thank you also, for TAG community, that are full of
well opinionated, truely attractive people.

Thank you all. (*´∇`*)

I don't see why women can't get the same right as men.
can you give me one law that should be different for men and women ?

and I'm talking about real right, things that make men and women the same kind of citizen to a nation, not things that would have them do everything the same way (like having a law that would force men to pee sitting or stupid things like that).

as long as she's not forced to pose against her will my opinion is what ever pose she agrees with is OK, erotic or not.

I don't see any issue either with fake boobs and bikini on TV. TV and magazines are adapting to audience and if the audience is embarrassed with a TV show they can watch something else and the TV show will be cancelled for not being popular.

No one is forced to see anything on TV, no one is forced to watch TV at all. Just because there are some shows I would be embarrassed to watch with my parents doesn't mean the show has to stop existing. I wouldn't watch Game Of Thrones with my parents or my son but I can't wait for the next episodes to be produced.

Comparing men and women's power doesn't make any sense. There are powerful men/women and not powerful men/women, there are smart men/women and not smart men/women ... in the end they are all the same human kind and sex is not relevant when it's about worth.

There are men and women smarter or more powerful than us all and what's the big deal ? In the end there will be someone smarter than some other one and someone more powerful than someone else.

Instead of wasting their time on who showed tits the feminist should be more active about women in other countries who would really need help to have some basic rights. Women in Saudi Arabia aren't allowed to drive while hypocrite politicians (including women) are shacking hands of that country's leaders.

Travel arrangement. When people book for hotels, flights, there are no gender difference rate. Train tickets,,.Only children have children's rate.

I think in Japan, the law only contains "human rights", and due to cultural backgroud, I think,"men and women should be equally treated" doesn't cover. And it can't be covered in Japan, as majority of men still traditionally think men should be advanced than women. Sadly, by our cultural reason. It's a giant step for Japanese men to accept that. And PM Abe is trying to move a step forward to support ladies to be better treated as men.

Salarywise,,, still men are getting more, even for the same position,

Why should there be a different price for women ?
The clubs have different prices because they will have more men customers if there are women inside but for the trains/plans/hotels it wouldn't make any sense.

Also tradition and laws are two different things. As long as no law can force anyone to follow the discriminating tradition you can't blame the state (you can blame men for being stupid though).

And salaries are the outcome of a bargain between a recruiter and a recruited during the interview. Some men are less paid than other men (or women) for the same job. I don't think there should be a law forcing an employers to pay everyone the same unless it's a public function and I don't think a woman minister would be paid less than a man minister for the same function.

But the private market's prices are decided by the market and there is a margin for bargain. I've never seen a woman complain because a waitress in a bar is paid more than a waiter.

I gave you an example of no gender difference and have equality. Don't get me wrong.

ah sorry, as you said that women can't have equal rights I was wondering "which right can't they have equally with men ?" and I asked for an example.

Hey don't get me wrong, I'm not irritated. Not at all. Sorry if I gave that impression.

Here is a light answer to the topic :

Comparing men and women's power doesn't make any sense. There are powerful men/women and not powerful men/women, there are smart men/women and not smart men/women ... in the end they are all the same human kind and sex is not relevant when it's about worth.

Apologies. When I wrote what I said last night, I was getting a little tired and probably didn't explain myself very well.

Of course, I won't deny that some people are more academically advanced than me and/or have a higher job/career position than I do.

What I meant by that is basically.. whether you are male or female, you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to if you put enough work. Keep the goals realistic, though.

Thank you for your comments! It's interesting to hear another person's thoughts on feminism, and I appreciate you taking the time to show me your point of view. A lot of the issues that you've brought up do make sense, and I wouldn't have thought about them if it weren't for you.

Trouble with feminism is that most of the complaints (at least in the West generally) are debunked falsehoods (wage gap, rape culture, etc) that keep getting spread around to beat men over the head with whenever something comes up, that even get repeated by political leaders (Ex. Obama). Of course there are sexist assholes out there, but I have yet to see anyone produce evidence of laws or institutions that are sexist. They're a shrinking minority that will eventually fade out of existence. Fortunately, feminism is a shrinking movement too according to most of the statistics out there. Feminism may mean equality of the sexes in the dictionary, but what it's become in practice is a man-hating movement, and most women recognize that (17% of women in the US identify as feminists, yet 87% agree that the sexes should be equal; U.K. was something like 8% / 90+%). The more amusing part is looking at what they come up with. I saw an article a few years ago that the air conditioning of an office building was sexist... I mean... what?

In Japan, it definitely does seem like there are genuine complaints to be had though. Women definitely hit a glass ceiling here, they're expected to fill gender roles in a company regardless of their actual position, actual disparity in salary based solely on gender, etc. Sadly, I don't really follow much with regards to feminism in Japan though. I think that overall culture will naturally change over the next 30-40 years though as the older generation starts going away and the younger generation starts filling those upper management roles.
