Hi TAG! I had my first experience at the (in)famous Alpha-In in Nishi-Azabu the other week with a new favourite client (hello Colonel Angus: it was mutual ) and thought I'd post some thoughts and pictures. http://www.hotelalphain.com/ My date picked room 201 (glad it wasn't 101, tbh, that scene in 1984 scarred me). The receptionist was a super-nice older lady and she was absolutely fine about me going up alone to meet my date without calling up to the room first (sometimes they'll call up to check while giving you a distrustful once over). The room was very large, with the bed in the corner and a whole load of reasonably terrifying S&M equipment, including a spreader chair that could be cranked back to horizontal, and a meat hook/chain combo hanging from the ceiling that my date and I couldn't work out was ornamental or not (I'm hoping it was)... There was also an entire rack full of various spanking and other tools, including a spreader bar and (confusingly) a paintbrush. The bed had leather cuffs at all four corners, which was my favourite feature - they were incredibly strong and took a load of strain. It also had mirrors at the foot and behind it, which provided a nice view. In a really typical Japanese S&M fashion, the toilet was a squat toilet with only a curtain that could be pulled across for privacy. I'm not into the humiliation thing myself but I can see the appeal of watching girls pee (I can't believe I wrote that on a public forum). There was also a laminated note at the head of the bed telling patrons that golden showers on the bed were STRICTLY FORBIDDEN and that anyone flouting this rule would be obliged to pay the cleaning fee (all in super-polite Japanese, of course). Bath was basic. The fridge was fully stocked with beer and chuhai as well as soft drinks. Nothing better than an ice-cold beer after an hour or two of debauchery, after all. I can't recall the cost of the room (#girlprivilege) but my date and I ended up extending, and the all night rate was around 20,000 yen. The lady from reception had beautiful keigo on the phone and, again, was really nice throughout. The Alpha-In is pretty famous and it's in a much nicer area than most love hotels, but it always makes the difference when the staff are polite and friendly. The hotel also has a shop and a bar(!) downstairs, with the special Tokyo Tower dildo that I really hope someone gets me for my birthday this Saturday. HINT.
