Closed Markdown problems?

Don't mean to bring up a closed issue but it seems tat **bold** & ~~strike through~~ aren't behaving as expected

**bold** used to work before.

edit: and now it seems it doesn't.

Ugh. Will go take a look... we patched a problem with numbered/ordered list on existing posts but it looks like we wiped out the processor.
Will go take a look again and update you as soon as possible

At least, the Markdown script isn't firing on editor load.

None of it should work since the script isn't being fired at all, I don't know why... yet...
I wish I could find a better solution for Redactor & Markdown; I am pinging my go-to developer to take a look.
