I am corresponding with a poster from Craigslist (don´t ask why, I guess I had time to waste), and it turns out she offers "sensual massage, totally nude". I am really not sure what that is supposed to mean. Is that a US code word for FS? Or a massage with hand job? Something else?

In the US it *usually* means no penetration at all (i.e., not even a BJ) but lots of other erotic stimulation, including HJs, Russian or whatever to completion. For some reason it became a fairly common form of p4p in the US, especially around the DC area, a decade or more back, usually offered by women who were significantly better looking than a typical escort (at least in their own opinions!). My impression is that it is quite a bit less common these days, though I'm not sure of that. I don't recall ever trying it, but I'd think it could be quite nice if done with style and skill.

But in any case, wouldn't it be easier and more reliable to ask her for some details of her services?

I did, but her idea of "clarification" is to repeat the same "sensual massage, fully nude". Apparently in her mind, that means something, so I asked here. She is a gaijin, so I assumed in gaijinland this is a common term. Thanks.

In the US it is also sometimes a smoke screen against LE. But once she is convinced you are not an undercover vice cop, penetration may be offered, typically for an extra fee...depends on local anti-prostitution ordinances etc, no doubt.

It is f-ing insane...I couldn't agree more. But the hard reality is that such laws and the ways in which they are enforced have a HUGE effect on the p4p scene in the US. The fact that they vary so much from one jurisdiction to another make the whole commercial sex scene that much more awkward/difficult to access for the wwandering monger! And it was 100x worse before the net allowed one to find out how the scene works in any particular place without resorting to highly risky trial-and-error methods!
