Men: Would You Ever Consider Starring In Porn?

I understand why women would be interested in doing porn. Money, fame, higher rank in sexwork, curiosity, etc.. but when men do it, most seem to have gotten into the industry because they wanted to have sex with multiple women and get paid for it at the same time.

While there is less stigma for straight male sexworkers, I’ve been wondering if they ever think or care about their privacy. With men being the biggest consumers of porn, I can easily imagine the scenario where their porn content is discovered by their fathers, brothers, grandfathers, uncles, sons, male coworkers, male friends, etc..

So, my question is, would you ever consider becoming a male pornstar? And how willing would you be to show your face?

Hello Hana.... this is just my opinion here... I think with guys, it's a bit different.... A guy that has had sex with lots of women is still considered a bit of a "idol" by other males...it's not absolute of course and a generalized comment. Therefore, it would be seen as "Hey You Da Man ! !" kind of thing. Especially with some family members - of course depending on family dynamics, morale code, etc... Father and Grandfather's could be a bit different, as they may say, I had higher expectations of you... but we all know that people that have expectations, typically get disappointed much more than people who don't.
You can do enough make up and hair style to make it a bit less recognizable, but in the end... it's out there. Just like anything on the web... I personally would not have a problem with it, but I have a career and position which makes impossible to pursue.. I think it takes a special skill to be able to perform sex in front of people.. and this is why it usually comes off as too fake and staged. Younger people, say in their 20's have "less" to lose maybe or a cavalier attitude towards it and at the end of the day can say, I was young and stupid, if it could affect potential career...
I was accused of being in a porno by a Japanese woman once, but she could never produce the link... so there is lookalike person out there in the porn industry...

And I am surprised I was first to reply to this...

I agree with a lot of what @BB0523 said in his post above.

I'm a big consumer of porn despite a healthy dose of P4P because all that costs a good bit of money and doesn't always deliver in terms of the kinds of activities, girls and fantasies I'm into.

I'd be interested in doing it more for those things than the money but the money is also nice. But I have a career and a social presence that just aren't compatible with being a known porn actor.

But there's a lot of porn out there now that's shot mostly in POV and other angles where the guy doesn't show his face and doesn't speak much or at all. That I'd be interested in doing but only if my real name isn't out there for all to see.

It's my understanding that on porn shoots, the men get paid much less than women. To the point where they could make more money working the fryer at McDonalds.

My ugly ass? Hell no. That's why I'm behind the camera.
If I were ever to appear in a porn, the company would go bankrupt overnight from all the returns and complaints they'd receive.

I'm incredibly jealous of those veteran male JAV stars - I'd give my right arm to be with some of those women and they've been with ALL of them. It's really nice to think about, but even if JAV was hiring white guys and I could do all the things that male porn stars need to do on command, nah probably not.
