Boredom and insomnia have sparked this post. This is just a random late-night thought but I was wondering whom the forum-goers considered to be the most beautiful out of a nation of exceptionally- beautiful women? My top five are the following:

5. Kyoko Fukada

4. Mitsu Dan

3. Yuzuki Aikawa

2. Ai Shinozaki

1. Keiko Kitagawa

A quick google image search will result in a lot of images of all the women listed, so I didn't post links. Does anyone else have any thoughts about this, or maybe want to share their own list? I thought about including Nozomi but I've read she's very mean- spirited, which is a turn-off no matter what you look like.

My vote for a stunning Japanese beauty by both Japanese and international standards is-

Kurara Chibana (Miss Universe Runner-up)

Note- Riyo Mori won Miss Universe, but only because they robbed Chibana and thought to make it up. However, Mori isn't as hot as Chibana.

You have to be careful with pictures versus real life. Except for 1, who is marginally short, all of the women you have listed are short (under 5'3 or 160cm). Had you seen them in real life, you might not be so impressed. A lot of guys are hot for an image created by photographers or the hype, but would pass by the real woman, in real life situations because they would think them average Jane.

Ms. Chibana, for example, is 173cm and 5'8. I had the pleasure of seeing her in person years ago, and she made a clear impression on men, irregardless of their nationality.

I actually have never really placed a woman's height high on my lists of priorities. But then again I've never been with an extremely short woman either. I've found both tall and short women attractive though. For me, I like round faces, fair skin, etc. Softness and femininity trumps everything for me. I've been told I like a certain type of Japanese girl before, but I don't remember the term unfortunately.

Me too. Being tall (or short) does not make a woman more attractive to me. A woman well over six feet or well under five feet tall is probably a bit less attractive to me, but even in such extreme cases height is not a major factor in how fetching I find her.

I have seen lots of good looking short women and had plenty of good looking short girlfriends, so I'm not saying a woman can't be short and look good.

Too tall can look awkward or out of proportion, which arguably starts to happens for women over 6ft/180cm. You might get this giantess look and any posture problems like round shoulders, slouching, or flat butt becomes amplified. But on the flip, women under 5ft 3in/160cm, can start to have odd and dwarfish proportions. And arguably, Northeastern Asian women can have more of these problems of looking like big dwarfs. Like legs are too short or too thick, head too big for their body, etc...

But if we are talking about super beauties that are the best in a country, I believe height becomes a factor. 'The best of the best" need to stand out from other women and height helps her do that. Taller beautiful women make more of an impact in real life and when they walk into a room.

My point too is that short women, despite how good she msy look, can get overshadowed when standing next to taller beauties or they blend in with crowd. Unless she is wearing expensive clothes and accessories, her beauty can possibly be overlooked when in a crowd. Where a tall beautiful woman can't hide. In fact, I've known many tall Japanese women with lots of psychological problems, because they stand out and have lots of insecurities about their height. Which reflects issues in Japanese culture about being different in any way.
 
Ignoring height for a moment, what about facial beauty? There's something about Keiko Kitagawa's face that sets her totally apart in my opinion. It's like her face shouldn't be so attractive, but it is. I don't know how to explain it. Her face is " crooked" in a really beautiful way. Is anybody else maybe seeing what I'm talking about?

What? No Ebi Chan? And no Meisa Kuroki? Those two would be at the top of the list for me.

If you were in Japan, you´d be familiar with the names. Btw, "Ebi Chan" is a nickname. Her real name is Yuri Ebihara. And get this: She has an identical twin who works as a nurse in Kyushu. How hot can you get?

The guy that gets a hold of her twin is the lucky one.
 
I knew who Ebihara was but I didn't know her nickname. I've seen a Dr. Pepper commercial with Meisa now that you mention it. Both are extremely beautiful but not quite in my top five, though I can see why they are widely- admired.

Of those I only think Kitagawa is beautiful, not suggesting the others are ugly but I don't see them as particularly attractive.
 
Yua Aida is my favorite, hands down. Although she hasn't been around since she retired from porn at the ripe old age of 23. And I like that she's 5'2" with that killer body. I like to call women like that 'fun sized'.

Yuki Uchida was always my dream girl 20 years ago. When she came on TV, I would stop what I was doing and watch, whether it was a TV commercial, program or her singing.
