To each their own, but for me mum is the strongest, most beautiful, kind and supportive mother in the world. I feel so fortunate that this year I will be able to spend the Mother’s Day with my mum. I am sorry if this is a sensitive topic for anyone (in case of the loss of a parent or family issues) but I’d like to know what the TAG community is up to on Mother’s Day?

Dunno yet because in France it’s the last Sunday of May. To be honest I am not a big fan of all the Hallmark holidays (Valentine day being the worse imo, especially how it’s done in Japan) but always called my mum on that day.
Have a great time with yours , those moments are precious.

Mother's Day from where Im from is a different day, and every year I shit myself thinking Ive forgotten it when it comes around in Japan.

Usually I give flowers and that usually leads to me getting to move heavy stuff around and between her apartment and the basement storage.

Usually the stuff I get from the basement is the same I hauled over there the prior year, and vice versa. Apparently she's had a change of heart.

We don't celebrate Groundhog Day where I'm from, but this sure feels a bit like it. Mum may always know best, but she seems to sometimes work in mysterious ways.
