Hello!

I'm joining TAG because it seems like an interesting place to really chat with people! I've been on S.A for a little while now but one of the things I don't like about it is that it's just a quick dating profile and that's it. Personally I like writing journals or having discussions to just sort of feel out what people are like. So I think maybe this site will be more to the tune of what I'm looking for? Well I hope so at least!

I'm from Canada and I've been in Japan for a while, although I'm sorry to say my Japanese is really no good at all, I can get by and understand a lot but I do get a little shy about speaking it since I'm always worried I'm going to say the wrong thing.
(I accidentally said "Oppai Ippai" instead of Onaka Ippai in a restaurant to a waitress. And "Goshujinsamadeshita" instead of "Gochusosamadeshita" so I kind of keep my mouth shut, smile and nod a lot more)

Anyway nice to meet everyone!

... and Goshujinsamadeshita is what you would say after whacking your lover’s husband. Unfrequent I suppose, but not impossible :D

Hi, you can write pretty much a lot in "About Me" and "What I'm Looking For" columns (4000 characters each) for your SA profile, but you may be right because not so many POT/SD would read the whole profile description. I love reading long profile descriptions tho.

Well, it's Japanese written in Roman alphabet so you can argue it's all wrong from the beginning.

I just can't figure out if it is a Francophone spelling of "goshusosamadesita" (please accept my condolences) or an Anglophone spelling of "gochisosamadeshita" (Thank you for serving a great meal), and she is a Canadian.

The latter is more frequent , hence more likely. However it would be double funny (in a dark way) if she meant the former.

Real spelling nazis would know it's ごちそうさまでした and would never resort to plebeian ways of destroying the holy Japanese language.
