Hilarious write up but I'm sorry for the predicament. There's a lot is pressure for considerate foreigners to not cause a scene but at the end of the day sometimes you just have to stick to your guns. I would've taken the handjob though.

Your first mistake was not checking in advance and choosing on your own. Your second mistake was the condom request, you obviously didnt understand the context of the place.

These places operate in a legal gray zone, they are legal but can be shut down. The provider was right. Condoms can be considered by the police as "evidence".

Yes, thats really sweet. It must be tough for older women to actually still earn a decent salary with this work, especially if they aren't even good looking for their age.

I guess the shop can get in trouble if any condoms are found during a raide. This place seems serious about the no FS rule and we wouldn't want them to close down.

At least 2 different providers there (one at Sexy Cat and one at Secret Touch) told me there they really dislike being given foreigners who don’t speak Japanese but the management won’t listen to the girls. I guess they’re desperate for customers/cash. It’s sad really that they (at least some) don’t seem to even get a choice. Terrible situation. Wouldn’t shed a tear if this door is closed tbh.

Mate, I’ve been to this place 6 or 7 times. I understand what happens when you don’t shimei and the odds of getting what I got with that loaded dice. This is an information forum for people who don’t, it’s not my blog.

If you think the police enforcing that law has anything to do with whether sex is actually provided or not then I have a bridge to sell you in Adachi-ku. They don’t need evidence.

Yeah they do actually. Witnesses count as evidence under the prosecution system as well. No evidence means the cops can't stand up in court and can be counter sued
 
This whole fucking country could be blasted by nukes and the only buildings left standing would be SexyCat, NYNY and Champs. These places have been around forever and they are not going anywhere soon. I'm sure the cops and the yaks both get a cut of the profits and they probably get freebies too. I had a similar experience. I wanted a CBJ but the woman at New York New York refused saying she could be fired.

I thought how stupid. It makes it safer for her and me.

But she explained that condoms cannot be found there or she will get in a lot of trouble.

I wasted ¥10,000. I got a lame hand job. Went elsewhere.

I always thought this shop is a great opportunity for older women.
Delivery healths with women over 50 charge prices like 5000 yen often cheap (or free to get repeats) options like no condom and anal are on the table. Soaplands that specialize in much older women are also often no condom.
This place may be desperate enough to not refuse clients but they still seem to get busy on certain nights from what i read. I've often thought that something like this would be a decent place to work if i never get out. With a few customs a day and 5000 per client, it could be a very livable salary, and if full booked, even a good salary. No condom BJ is just the standard in Japan, shoganai.

What were we supposed to research? I guarantee if you try to search for cases of being rejected from this chain of shops for asking to use a condom then you will find only this thread lol. My trusted ojisan co-workers after laughing at me for going there (the same who laughed at me for using a condom in a soap mind..) even said they agreed it was a reasonable request and everywhere else it would be no problem, but just these shops are ‘from a different era - the rules, the facilities, the girls and the customers.’ Can’t really disagree.

The guys at the front of these shops is very businesslike and are not up for discussion like other healths. The money is taken by a faceless woman hidden behind a counter like in some love hotels and actually, come to think of it, Hinomaru! (Knew the setup reminded me of something - I guess from the same era) Asking him about condoms isn’t really on.

I would guess that the shop tencho knows better what the police can shut his shop down for than your coworkers.
