Nude, implied-nude and semi-erotic modelling

Hi all,

Does anyone know of an independent or other person who is interested in doing some photographic modelling? I'm working on building a portfolio for hobby and semi-professional reasons and have been having some trouble finding models willing to work with a non-established photographer.

Shoots would be paid competitive rates, run from implied-nudity to semi-erotic (i.e. - non-pornographic). Does anyone have experience finding models for this kind of work?

Just my opinion here, based what I've heard in the past...

Does the work you want to do include face shots or just below the neck? Some people would probably know what you will use the photography for and also they may want to see a portfolio of what you have done so far.

Depending on the model type you're looking for, it may not hurt to advertise on CL or Metropolis if you're looking in the Tokyo area.

I'll send you a PM with an email address of another semi-pro photographer who may be able to help find some willing participants. I need to dig his address up and I'll send it to you later today.
