I got a few events - so I’m happy....
Good. You might as well fill your boots up. The ones without tickets will still be paying for it in taxes.

Beach Volleyball! If I got tickets for the finals, I be praying for a match-up such as China versus Brazil ...Got beach volleyball finals, no gymnastic finals.
I won't be in the 1st cum categoryTickets for Canadians go on sale next week Wednesday and it seems like it's a "first come, first serve" deal. Crossing fingers that I can get tickets to the opening ceremonies.
Really? I would find that a deal breaker for most as many are uncomfortable with sloppy seconds.I won't be in the 1st cum category

Most of the opening ceremony tickets have been allocated to sponsors and ‘VIP’.
That's why Olympics is no longer an event for the commoners but for the rich people and corporations, at least if you wanna see it in person.
Tell me something I don't already know..............That's why Olympics is no longer an event for the commoners but for the rich people and corporations, at least if you wanna see it in person. The most important ones are always reserved for them and regular folks are expected to pay for hosting the event through their taxes but don't even get much back, other than more debt. If the Olympics are entirely paid for by those VIPs and corporations then they can get all the tickets they want but. Rant over

Watching it live in the stadium is a different experience to watching it on TV. .

I would guess that TV coverage might be similar in ROK (South Korea); China; or Thailand.Especially if your watching Japanese TV...where the priority is broadcasting events involving Japanese athletes rather than the best athletes in the premier events.

And women's beach volleyball where you can masturbate without the police getting called.
AFAIK it's same in every country. The sports they are good are popular and thus get TV coverage.
Instead I would like to see what happens in the living quarters. The amount of condoms consumed is amazing and all those girls in top condition would be fun to follow
The sound of crickets chirping......
