This was our first visit to an establishment like this in Japan, as our lack of Japanese discouraged us before. Planning to go as a group ahead time helped to change that. It just happened to be a ”cuckold night” though there was no actual theme noticed or interaction with the staff towards the customers outside of the bar and initial welcome tour. We have visited Swinger Clubs in the US, and Bliss is much smaller (it is only a bar and not in anyways meant to be a club).

We visited Bliss as part of a larger group, and lucky for us, we had someone with a proficiency in Japanese as our Bliss guide only spoke Japanese. Previous posts on TAG helped to fill in the gaps of the rules given to us. There was a 5 to 1 ratio of men to women at the peak of the night. The place had a fair amount of people but another guest to us she has seen the place packed on occasions.

The bar was limited to one bartender most of the night causing unnecessary waits. There were also not enough shot glasses for a second round which is surprising for a bar.

The seating arrangements in the bar lounge made it a bit difficult for a large group to talk together, though we made the best of it.

Downstairs are the playrooms which are sectioned off portions of a much larger room. We never entered the smaller of the two play areas as it only allows only 4 people. The larger area has 4 sectioned-off areas surrounding it on two sides for others to watch or to do things in private.

The staff seemed to be lacking enough employees as we never saw the play areas cleaned and the towels replaced inside for the times spent below. The play areas are very plain with only padded floors, towels, and pillows. There were condoms available inside, but be aware these are all Japanese sized.

For the most part, the other customers behaved. We had one non-Japanese client who was pushy towards having a group play with us on multiple occasions. We did observe a Japanese man try to get more than what was agreed upon and the women said no. He tried again and she told him no, to which the Staff told him to leave when it was brought to their attention.

Overall we had an enjoyable experience, and we do expect to visit again in the future.

Did you call Bliss by phone from the street or where there other people entering too? As there seems to be no doorbell or anything?

We did not call as we knew the general area as to where Bliss is located. Pictures previous posted on TAG made it easy to find to include prior searching on Google Street View.
There was an intercom by the door once you walk down, but someone else in our group Initiated the conversation. From inside the bar area you can hear a doorbell when activated.
Hope that helps.
