I think that this is a good idea. They can have access to exclusive content or information, and can also help support TAG by paying monthly/yearly fees for the “VIP” section. Chris has to put up with a lot of BS for free most of the time.

My thoughts exactly as well!

It has said multiple times that they don't want to have to deal with internet payments because they are being cautious (not sure about the precise details), so putting in the infrastructure to have people who just want to read pay would be x10 for that. I'm not sure if he would even want a donation link, but that might be an option.

Thanks again for the suggestion - When we look at the cost factor (and risks) for providing such a service and compare that to the amount of information that would be exclusive, I just don't think it's worth it. Yes, I'm repeating myself here when I say 'at this time'. Receiving and managing payments for what's considered to be a high-risk adult oriented business, is not very black and white. We can't just drop a PayPal link and automate things at the risk of getting our account frozen. -- BitCoin is the most secure way for us to get funds these days, but it's a manual process to link-up payments with members. (The reality is that we have an API to do this with but we lose a chunk of BTC when the funds have to be moved to wallet that can be used for trading.) - We do have someone that takes wire transfers for us, but for security reasons, we only use that option when there is no other choice.

That all said, what we can maybe, possibly do, is setup some sort of member program where we have a private area setup and payments by the month/quarter/year would grant you a special designation and access to whatever content is there. It would have to be BTC, probably.

Set up a legit account with another entity, you could always sell overpriced coffee mugs. Or do one of the artist expo sites. Create a video once a quarter to discuss the state of legislation regarding prostitution in different countries if you want.
Or discuss marijuana in the US quarterly, seems big business discussing it.
Put something on TAG saying that if you pay and support X to send them the info from your payment, cross check it, and manually allow access on TAG. No direct connection, no cash connection.

Cash, collected by any independent escort after minimum of two hour booking.

I think @TAG Manager would probably like to not link TAG in that way to the Indies, it's one thing to advertise for them. It is another thing to say hey you get access to this "paid members section" if you go out with one of the indies for a 2hr session. How would TAG benefit financially from this other than the ads they already feature for indies?

Direct connections to escorts is often a whole lot worse legally. There's been one or more boards in the US where the owners were busted under pimping charges because they went beyond ads and reviews and did things like "confirming services" with area providers and/or giving 'bonus points' to users for seeing certain providers. There's even sites in the US that have completely disassociated ads from reviews so they weren't "closing the circle" - Cityvibe (an ad listing page) used to have a companion page called AdultFax that was tied into the CV site (you could directly access the AF reviews for a girl on her CV ad). One day AdultFax POOF disappeared, all the reviews and links to their site, etc just disappeared.

That's the US of course where they are being extra-puritanical about the hobby lately, but it's still a dangerous game for hobby board owners these days.

LOL!

Lately? The US wasn't always like that?
No. It goes in cycles based on the political climate. When someone wants to get elected, they go after easy targets that the public will cheer on.
Plenty of people are still successful in the states, but it's still done cautiously.
