Been a while... Haven't had as much of a chance to play lately and what I have done hasn't been worth writing so...

But this is a little.. off kilter.

Long story short, got hit up by a FB acquaintance. I had assumed it was one of the normal selling various sideline stuff, but she claimed to be an escort based in Tokyo and Osaka.

Asked for a website, got told she's FB only. That's when the red alert started flashing. The claim is that for 51,000 yen +room and food, I'd get her full service for 24 hours. Told that I'm outside of Tokyo, she claimed she'd come to me, no worries, and no extra fee.

So to book, all I needed to do was give her my name, address, postal code, and cell phone number because a delivery guy would deliver to me a voucher for her services and a hotel plus a 'fun' box. Then all I need do is call, she'd be there and away we'd go. I would give her the voucher at the end, and she would claim her commission.

Oh, and I needed to book her NOW, regardless of not being in possession of free time any time soon.

Yeah, red alert's screaming and this is smelling about as much as an email from a long-lost Nigerian prince who wants my help.

If admin's ok, I'll post the name of the supposed escort here, if not, just remember that if something sounds way too good to be true... it most surly is. I have no plans on taking her up on her offer right now so there is the minor chance that she's legit, but I highly doubt it.

Yeah, the chances are she is the model class Japanese girl in her twenties who does it for love and that friendly tout on the pink unicorn will handle the transaction for her.

But good to hear your bullshit sensors were in good order and you didn't fell for this!

Approved - Feel free to post the scammer's information.
This is definitely bad news....

(And thanks for reporting it!)
Thanks.

Name is Shine Yamamoto. Claim is a half Korean/Filipina model who is in Shinjuku .

Pitty, nice eye candy .

Thats not even close to how an escort works and those are some complicated and weird instructions. I think the scammer would make it easier for themselves to just ask for an Itunes card like all the other scammers. What is that “fun box” even about? Maybe there is a tenga in it as a comforter for when you get stood up later.

Sad thing is, people fall for it...

To anyone who doesn’t know any better, it’s a easy trap and an easy score for a scammer. They are people on FB who cannot think for themselves... literally.

Yeah, it would be normal for an escort to ask for your credit card number and then the shorter number in the back just for confirmation purposes, of course! :D

Exactly. The regular vertification procedure.

Well, experience is the great teacher when it comes to p4p. And forums like this one, of course.
But first timers usually have no real idea how any of this works unless they've been able to read up on it somehow.
