Random pictures in japan you took!

That’s so funny, it hurts.
There’s this whole generation of youngins who are missing out on experiencing life and its many lessons because they’re hooked on another universe, which they access on their smartphones. Makes me shudder to think about how advances in 5G, AI and big data technologies could make more people drift away from the real world, while fostering the belief that the matrix they’ve embraced 24/7 is the real world.

Oh you mean that hasn't already happened yet ?

more and more , they go to clubs (or restaurants, or resorts, or anywhere nice for that matter) not so much to have fun in those places, rather to take the pics of themselves pretending to have fun in those places, and post immediately on Insta. Its actually hilarious to watch that scene.
I suppose that pretty soon if not already you could post fake but very realistic pics of yourself in any trendy/beautiful spots and fool everyone... then nobody will bother to go to the actual places anymore, except those who truely like them for what they are

The reason we read more and more people plunge to their death trying to get that perfect selfie. .. Darwin at work ..... I'm just not that patient ... Why can't they do group selfies at these dangerous locations :D

I know it's a harsh comment but .. I'm sure some will sympathize :D

Pretty soon it'll be like that episode of Black Mirror where your social standing and credit depends on how highly you're rated on social media.

That’s fast shaping up to be the norm in China, which is the world’s most populous nation and biggest internet market.

Millions of Chinese individuals and businesses have been labelled as untrustworthy on an official blacklist banning them from any number of activities, including accessing financial markets or travelling by air or train, as the use of the government’s social credit system accelerates.
The annual blacklist is part of a broader effort to boost “trustworthiness” in Chinese society and is an extension of China’s social credit system, which is expected to give each of its 1.4 billion citizens a personal score.

Heard about that but it's really mind boggling to truly contemplate the scale of the system and the power it has over a person.

Yep. Once got a 666 room number too. Felt I had to call an escort to complete the story (and I did :))

SO since you were in the room of the beast, you fucked like a beast?

On my birthday last year, I saw this crow early in the morning as I walked around Roppongi.
The crow is supposed to be a good symbol of balance in dark and light. Even its feathers change shades with the light.

This crow also reminded me of the Sons of Anarchy theme song, “This Life”.
