Visit was made on Saturday Morning, 10:30AM. Since they open at 10:00AM, I thought I wouldn't have to wait long. Boy was I wrong. I had to wait about 30 minutes before being let in.

I wouldnt clasify NHP as a Pink Salon. In a regular PS, you pay for the BJ and there is no extra charge for touching. A PS doesnt have strip show but a large room with sofas. The good ones have several rooms within a large floor.
 
Ah, you're right. It is due to my ignorance. I've never been to a real PS, so I thought NHP was one. It makes more sense to classify it as a strip club, I guess?

Generally speaking, you are right. But NHP is not a pink salon, as explained by others.
Hinomaru have some young and nice looking girls, but you have to read the forum carefull for names, and then request them. It costs you an extra 1000, but it is still less than the 6000 you pay at NHP for quick CBJ by a semi clothed girl ( as opposed to a fully naked girl providing BBJCIM and allowing everything...)

You need to pretend that you understand.. nodding when he asks soemthing. Learn a few words: Wakarimasu for instance.. Not too difficult , but impossible if you are a gaijin visiting jsut for a few days with no knowledge whatsoever... in such case, Hinomaru is the alternative/

Much as I'd like to help a fellow hobbyist get some, you probably should just seek other outlets. NHP has every right to set their own policies, and since the girls have relatively specific procedures they follow there, it's pretty difficult to go through that even with okay Japanese. The problem is that if you go in and pretend to understand and get past the guy, and then either get kicked out later, or cause a scene because you do something you aren't supposed to because you didn't understand the girl, it's going to make all foreigners look bad.

Too many foreigners that don't speak Japanese has obviously already caused somewhat of a crackdown at NHP (they used to be very foreigner friendly if you understood very basic Japanese. Additional people doing this may cause a worse crackdown, if not having ALL foreigners getting banned. Please don't be that guy that ruins it for other people. Thanks.
 
meiji I agree with you. We just went up to check and ask. The staff said "Japanese only" and we left.

I guess you are right.... but.... if you read the forum, and know exactly how things work, and, whatever happens , do not create any pb, then it should be OK.

I have a JLPT level 4/5, and, frankly, had no issue, even the first time . I always go with the flow anyway.. even when event do not take the turn I expected.
Incidentally, I was not bold over by the place, so only went bakc once, and decided that it was not worth the money for me...
 
I went there ten days ago, twice, and never had a problem with being a foreigner. Just showed I understood basic japanese (like reading the name of the girls in hiragana) It was great both times, mostly because most of the girls are absolutely stunning (out of four girls I have seen, three were 9-10 and one was a 7.5). I just guess doing things like going to ask to change the girl are the kind of things they don't like to happen, obviously.

If you check the website there is only written they want japanese speaking, not japanese only.
