Sekukyaba Resource Thread

On the topic of club closures, club L is closed until further notice. One of the girls told me it's gonna reopen in the old Alegria spot after the renovations are done.

Ah, I noticed that Alegria had reappeared on CityHeaven and Fujoho.

I went to sweater moon in Shinjuku last night. No issues at all.
Did the 40 min course.
Definitely would not recommend if you have zero speaking ability. I was able to communicate good enough if the provider was patient. But with the one it was almost like I was wasting her time and she had no interest in trying.
Still a fun experience, them damn girl drinks will add up fast though so be prepared.
When I left there was a tout in the club that walked up the stair before me then told me about another place. But I don't trust touts so I probably won't follow up.
I am thinking about checking out Club Slow tonight. I'll look for reviews first.
I do like that sweater moon has "private" booths. The only other oppai pub I have been to was in the open.
I may do a review but honestly without remembering the names it may be pointless, plus I have 2 pending still.

I think Ribbon raised their prices a bit - through subscribing to their email list it used to be 5000y for 40mins but lately the discount has been 6000y for 40mins. So +1000y.

Not sure how I feel about that, it's not a huge increase but psychologically I wouldn't feel as good spending 6k on a sekukyaba... A shame because I went again like literally 2 days before the increase and I had a nice time again (my 4th time over there).

They're opening a new oppub in Ikebukuro tomorrow called "After V"「アフターファイブ」. It's the same group as Afterschool, though, so it's most likely foreigner NG.

It is not really possible to tell without giving it a go. Afterschool is badged as "Her Room Part 2" but is NG. "Her Room Honten" is absolutely fine with foreigners.

Perhaps you can give it a go and let us know?

It seems that price now applies across the Campus group, judging by the latest set of メルマガ. I agree that 6k at the discount rate just sounds too much. Having said that I am very conscious of the fact that we are not all Adonis or Casanova. Although the ladies are paid for their work it is not always, actually probably mostly not, enjoyable work!

You guys may have forgotten how much yen dropped like bricks for the past few months as much as painful it is.

It's sad for people who work here but been amazing for me and the others visiting . It's like a huge sale.
I couldn't imagine living here and trying to travel anywhere else though. 😪

I had the worst luck with Sekukyabas on my last trip to Tokyo. I went to Ribbon, Miss Campus and Marunouchi, and not a single girl wanted to kiss.. Not that it matters much in these establishments, but I'm a young looking caucasian, with good higiene, and speak japanese fluently, yet no girl wanted to play, just talk. Around 4-5 years ago when I lived in Tokyo I had the best times ever at any Sekukyaba I went to, so I'm not sure if something changed after covid or just straight up bad luck.

Going back to Tokyo this week and feeling a bit reluctant about going to another shop, which sucks because I actually love the whole concept of Sekukyabas.

I am a little overweight and older with shitty Japanese skills and was able to make out with 2 out of 3 of the girls at sweater moon. The last one was the one I liked most, she was hot, super nice tits and gauged ears, she was just rad looking but shit personally and no interest in even trying to talk to me.
I did buy all of them drinks but regretted it for the last girl.
I'm not a fan of how Japanese girls kiss as much as Americans but no big deal. I was mostly there to play with titties.

This is not the place for a discussion on economics but I am not sure of the relevance of the exchange rate if you live here and earn and pay in Yen to girls who also live here and earn and get paid in Yen.

I've found the concept of "free" weird especially during the pandemic. Those girls get about 1000 yen for making out with a stranger. Seems a bit weird to do that with multiple strangers a day while there is this disease that everyone is panicking about.

I don't think anyone really wants to remember that time though, even less so than last year. You just got a bad draw I think.

I don't intend to but when yen dropped more than 10% since last year it's pretty unrealistic for providers to keep charging the same rates.

I kind of concurred with you for five years of subsequent sekukyaba visits last year was the worst indeed with a few girls asking me to buy drinks barely a few minutes of meeting but I still got to kiss and make out a few. Maybe you need to be more assertive or brush up your flirting game?

I checked all Campus group sites today for the new pricing. Seems the regular prices haven't changed anywhere, this only applies to the coupons.

There is one exception: Bikini. Seems the had a Renewal Open last month and are pushing the bikini theme again.....but they nearly doubled their prices. Set start at 12k (8k with renewal coupon). Pretty insane change in this case. has anyone been to the newly opened shop?

Also added "After V" to the list. Most promo material on their homepage are AI generated girls. This in combination with a high price point doesn't look too inviting...

The My Girl updates look pretty good though. I'm gonna make a foray next week.
No use, fellas. I tried earlier, but was denied entry, both for nomination and for free time. I spoke with him in Japanese for about five minutes, and he asked questions like "Have you met this girl at another shop before?" But it was no good.

I mean, I half agree with this system. I think if you can communicate in Japanese, you should be granted access anywhere. However, they seem to believe their language is easy, and keep the bars in place. I'm determined to get into these places if it's the last thing I do, even if I have to buy the establishment one day.

Thanks for giving it a go. I can possibly u derstand a "no foreign tourists" policy but if you actually live here (and, in many of our cases, for quite some time) and speak the lingo then frankly it is just racist.

It's complicated.

Today I was feeling adventurous so I tried two new ones in Ikebukuro. One is Baby Moko, where Flor used to be. The ladies here wore Pyjamas although I thought the theme was supposed to be furry hoods. The other is Mint, which is a lift-and-shift from Hustle Gakuen, just around the corner, which closed, unbeknownst to me.. Both were absolutely fine with foreigners. I was apparently the first foreigner in Mint, which only opened a few days ago, but I didn't receive any kind of badge or certificate. :-(

Baby Moko has been open for a couple of months and they have had a few foreigners including, I was told, someone who was visiting from Korea and had to use a translator app.

So, Danbo, here are two new updates for your list.

Visited sweater moon in April. No Japanese and I was let in without an issue, had a few drinks but I swear they gave me a rule list in english. From memory had good comms with 2/3 girls in english and the third was a mix of the random Japanese words I know and google translate. Pleasant experience, felt welcomed and everyone was nice. Mix of play and talk with all 3, only bought drinks for girls 2/3 as girl 1 seemed to have forgotten to ask.

I have another update. Today I tried Club Aman in Shinjuku (right next door to Barubola). This is also quite new. The sign at the bottom of the stairs said in English "We only serve in Japanese" and not "We only serve Japanese". I went in and had a great time. It was a little more open than most places I have been to but both girls were really quite handsy, which was rather nice! The first lady, Kaguya, was quite gorgeous.
