Arrived in from England this morning, and thought I'd wander over to Kabukicho before jet-lag set-in!
It's my first time in Tokyo, and I was very impressed with the subway system, and got there without any trouble.
I had a general wander around, and made sure I could find places that I'd read about here; like New Hot Point and Asian Relax.
First of though I decided to try a DVD store. Queued for ages in the first one only to be told there were no free rooms. Queued so long at the second place that I gave up, but third time lucky I found a good one that had lots of viewing rooms. The selection seemed pretty much the same in all of them.
Anyway, got to my cubicle with DVDs, and found it quite comfortable and 'well equipped' Couldn't tell you the name though. However, I can't be doing with these censored films and after a lot of fast forwarding I left, and headed for New Hot Point which I found easily enough thanks to the help in TAG.
When I got there though I was turned away as they only accept Japanese speakers.
So, went round the corner to Asian Relax to be told it was full, 'very full' in fact. I then saw Asian Relaxation next door and tried that and got in.
The guy at the door said I needed the 100 minutes at 13,000. the rooms are not as nice as the photos for Asian Relax looked but I went in undressed and a lovely Chinese girl with a name like An came in. With much finger pointing she took me to one of those scrubbing/washing tables and gave me a very nice and erotic soapy wash and rinse.
Then back to the cubicle for a fairly firm massage through a towel, which sensual as well. After that I turned over and the oil was applied for the happy ending. She remained dressed and I wasn't allowed to touch, but I enjoyed it, although I never got the 100 minutes.
So that was my afternoon in Kabukicho, and I have to say I like the place, and hope I get the chance to get back before I leave.

It didn't matter much, there's only so much you can see in an afternoon :)

    Phundragon,

You can always email for an appointment at Asian Relax or Asian Feeling both are sister shops. Go to their website and click on "Contact." I can tell you Kana, Ayumi, and Haru are all excellent choices and fun conversation if you know a little Japanese.

    Hello Bichan2
Thanks for this advice, and if time allows I will do that - sadly though, I think it's going to be work, work, work from here on.
    Cheers

You need to answer with confidence "Wakariamsu" when the guy speaks to you... And look like having already been there befoe..
But, to my opinion, it is not worth..

As of 2016, I've also heard AR and AF are your 100% safest bets. But they refuse service to drunk customers. So if you find yourself in such a state of mind, avoiding touts will be your next safest bets. A friend of mind went a place drunk off his arse, and as long as he showed proper respect, he was able to walk into virtually any "tout absent" massage place, and still left extremely happy.

Those DVD places aren't full. They just didn't wanna deal with gaijins.

Can't say that I've heard of anyone getting turned away from a DVD place.

Do you know someone that was literally turned away despite having open spaces?

Yes, the guy was from Oman. Told me in ekaiwa that DVD places never lets him in even if he speak conversational japanese. The only gaijin friendly in Japan is the place called manboo.

Manboo is a internet cafe chain. I've been there before as well as others (like Bagus) without any issue. (I guess they still have the ID requirement)

DVD places, very strange... that's the first time in 10 years that I've heard someone getting rejected.

Thanks for sharing. It helps to know what is out there these days.

Back when I lived in Tokyo, Kabukicho was often a roll of the dice. Favorite shops became unfriendly, there were official touts who were very good & cooperative and some touts were BSers.

I remember asking one tout for a shop that offered BBBJ (生フェラ or 生フェラチオ). He took me to a nondescript venue. After our shower, my Chinese girl had no idea what I was talking about and after I complained, the reception man told me that the girls at his shop don't offer BBBJ.

As long as you speak Japanese they let you in. Im foreign but speak Japanese and have never been turned away. i think they are afraid you won't understand their explanation about the time etc -the rules. same old story
