TAG verified escorts Simonka, Lili Kat, TinyNymph, and AnikaLuv found themselves without a website this morning. Klick on their links, and traffic is routed to a domain parking lot. Websites of other TAG escorts, such as Missinsomnia, Anna Summer, or Misha Maxwell function unimpeded. What is the difference?

Simonka, Lili Kat, TinyNymph, and AnikaLuv have their websites at Indyfiles.com and Companionfiles.com, which appear to have shut down as fallout from the impending SESTA/FOSTA legislation threatens to cause a nuclear winter for the U.S. P4P business. The ladies perform their services in Tokyo, but nonetheless find themselves without a website. They do not own their website names, because they are subdomains of Indyfiles.com and Companionfiles.com.

Missinsomnia, Anna Summer, and Misha Maxwell apparently own their domain names, and have their sites on independent servers. This definitely is the way to go.

In light of the current activities, is is strongly recommended to independents:

  • Register your own domain names, like simonalarossa.com, or simonalarossa.sexy . Try keeping the names close to the ones you just lost, and do it fast. The U.S. government has jurisdiction over .com domains, and can seize them. For an independent, the risk should be minimal, however, to be safe than sorry, register I am recommending to stay away from .com domains, and register a .sexy domain, or one of your country, anything but .com. If you want to stay in Tokyo, there are new .tokyo domains.
  • Rent webspace, and run your own site. Hopefully, you have saved copy and pictures of the site you just lost. Sometimes, content can be retrieved using http://web.archive.org, but no joy in the case of the 4 website-deprived ladies.
  • If the running of websites exceeds your capabilities, a geeky customer surely will help.

Strangely, the site of Rikako is also down. She owns her own domain, but maybe she forgot to put up the website.

I use Squarespace to edit my website, and mine may or may not be shut down in the future. So far, I’ve only heard of one Squarespace website getting shut down since FOSTA/SESTA passed.. so I’m not too worried about it.. but just in case, I have copied everything and pasted it on a Wix website for backup.

No, she doesn’t own her domain. Already worked with her on this - she was about to move to a different provider. (She was on Escort Designs, just like a bunch of other ladies... she had planned to move and had saved all of her content already)

For the others, Wix is a safe provider for now since they have been escort friendly and are HQ’d in Israel.

Ladies that have an ad on TAG, at least gave that. We also are facing a significant jump in traffic after BP/Cracker died.

We highly reccomend providers be cautious about details shared with clients.

So far, the overall picture in Japan, we shouldn’t see any impact to our sites as we’re not providing services to the U.S - that is the major position of most sites (agency or otherwise) operating in Japan LEGALLY under Japanese law.

Thanks.

The most important part is that you register your own domain, and maintain control of the domain registration at all times. This way, you can move it from hoster to hoster without the customer noticing.

Unless you're really insistent about receiving information via a form, an email address works fine. I enjoy the email correspondence tbh, so that I can get to know the person a bit.
and if the guy is capable of including all the pertinent info in the email without you having to ask for it , that's gotta mean something right?
(tbh, i don't like forms. i have nightmares about them.)
also in the meantime if you want people to still read your FAQ, can't you just put it in your ad (as an attachment if too lengthy)?

I think that’s the problem... 90% don’t put all the information you need in an email (before I had a form I had to ask over multiple emails which area, hotel name, time etc.
having everything right in the form saves us both time and I can respond so much quicker.
Besides that.... I don’t get flooded with “hi available” emails either. At least they are less frequent with the form.

Affected indies. I was able to save @Simonka's data via Google Cache feature. I suspect you don't have very long before the cache expires, probably a week at best. If there is an FAQ that you need or content (that isn't a graphic) ping me in a private message and I'll see if I can grab it for you.

How to get to the Google cache:

Do a Google search, like "simonalarossa faq"
Click on the green down arrow next to the search result
Click on "cached"
Copy what you see.
The links won't work. So do separate searched for the seearate chapters. Like "simonalarossa rates" etc.

Do it now. The cache won't l;ast

Alternate first step is "Take URL of page and do google search on the page url on google.com"

It's a lot easier for the USG to go after a single site that houses many profiles than it is to go after many websites on a single service that hosts individual sites. Such as squarespace. You are probably safe.

Her site is cached via google, I'll pm her with the content so she doesn't lose it.

Well I can't pm her for some reason, so maybe someone else can let her know her stuff is cached if she wants it. Also seems her photos are cached, something I didn't think google did.

Make sure your data is not on US data center. It's useless if you girls rent something on US data center as it may be deleted again.
I can help if anyone need help setting up something here in Tokyo data center.

Like @MissInsomnia, my website is hosted on Squarespace. However, I am in the process of making a backup on Wix.

The loss of Backpage today has made me sad. While my best clients have always come from TAG, I have met one or two nice clients in Tokyo through BP. :-(

I have found a new free website host for escorts.

It's escortbook.com

My new website is http://simonalarossa.escortbook.com/

(I quickly put together something because I wanted to attach my website to my other ads. Today I checked those ads and apparently I get traffic from them so I'm pretty happy now.)

Fantastic! Have been away for the last 2 months. I found myself without a website when I came back so I decided to wait until the raids were over before restarting my website. I hardly lost any information since most was on my TAG Ad (which I do need to reactivate) but it will be easier with a website.

Thanks for the info Simonka

My traffic analysis:

Tokyoadultguide: 100+
City of love 13
Euro girls 7

TAG has a lot of traffic or it's because I have upgraded to premium advertising I get most of my traffic from Tag. I only have free ads on those other platforms. Thanks Chris
