The Anything Goes Thread

I just got out of the sento/sauna ... I think I saw "Jesus" in there or maybe it was TJB?
lol.

Somewhat related... every time I get on a train... I also look at some girls and wonder if they're working girls. Since I'm always going to Shinjuku, there are indeed some working girls seen from time to time. Today, I'm on my way to Akihabara first and I still look at girls and wonder... this is probably a bad habit that I should avoid. But, when I'm in Shinjuku and doing my think Kabukichou and a couple comes out of a hotel, thanking each other and walking the opposite directions... well, my friends, she is indeed a working girl. lol... no way he'd be a working guy. :D :D

I've been spending the day honing my culinary skills... Spanish omelette for breakfast, and Croque Madame for lunch, dinner tonight's going to be filet mignon with a cheese and cream based garlic sauce, with a side of mushrooms sauteed in miso... but the serious stuff has been prepping a five alarm Texas chili with fresh habaneros. That's in the slow cooker until later tonight, then it'll get cooled and set in the fridge for a few days to let the flavours mingle, and should be ready to eat Wednesday or Thursday.

For the uninitiated, Texas (aka proper) chili is pretty much nothing but meat and spices. No damned beans.

Its a under-rated wines area, they have a few gems though. I'm more of a Bordeaux guy but Chateauneuf du Pape is also high on the list! Ok enjoy, i will try to have a digestive walk now (non-Pokemon driven, too old and lazy for this :()
Dear @Frenchy, you managed to offend me.
Your comment suggest that you somehow look down at Cotes du Rhone ?
They top my interest by a small margins to Bourgogne but so much more alive than aloof Bordeaux.

Otherwise, enjoying family life during typhoon...
Welcome to Hong Kong.

On my way to Ikebukuro now, going dark shortly for a nice evening. :D (Although not sure if we're staying in Ikebukuro. hmm.. )

I'm aware. :) Texas BBQ and Texas Chili both hold a special place in my preferred tastes.

Impressive! My culinary skills being limited to fried eggs, I can only be admirative!

Well, if we could not fight about escorts let's fight about wines! :D
To be honest I don't know the CdR area very well. I find the generic ones a bit bland, but yes I admit the Chateauneuf du Pape, Cote Rotie, Hermitage, Condrieu are usually excellent wines.
I find the diversity of cepages a bit too overwhelming though. My preference for Bordeaux is as much due to Cabernet-Sauvignon than the terroir itself. In fact I like good Cabernets from even Chile (gasp!)

Any exhibition you guys visited and recommended recently?
And no I don't mean an exhibitionists event :D

Kept busy either internet shopping!!! or napping..

Picked up a cold on Sat. night, after a session with a client. Maybe in the hotel room or at Seijo Ishii, where I bought lots of stuffs there, someone had a terrible cold, before I went in...My first cold in two years.

Mostly staying in bed for the recovery...Not fun...took medicine, found Premium Bufferin. Still cold, so added taking another medi. Must be recovered by tomorrow, as a busy week awaits.

Butt fun part...the internet keeps a single woman busy shopping...Ahhh...ordered a leather rider type jacket, a wallet, couldn't find a perfect leather boots. Maybe I go to Shinjuku ABC store, sometime, when I had a session there.

And don't shop too much ... it may become an addiction (writes the guy who shamelessly "shops" too, but mostly for travel and restaurants :D)

What are you guys talking about? The weather is almost perfect, like a summer for me! :D

Yeah, ok, so it would be better with little less rain but this kind of weather beats Tokyo summer any which way for everything, especially sports.

Though I did not go for a run yet, managed to spend the day watching a really bad movie. Was even too lazy to see it from the TV and just stayed on my PC.

I like movies so bad they're good . Like totally unscary horror movies with bad plots (a group of american teenagers go to a haunted beach house or similar crap)

I hate horror movies. I am scared enough in my normal life daily not to need any other sources of horror.

But this movie was so bad it was just bad. I don't know how it ended up in my hard disk, cannot think someone would have recommended it or something. Unless they really hate me.

Has anyone been to itamae sushi near toho?
Is it super expensive? I'm not rich, but I do appreciate good food occasionally.
Right now I'm trying to decide between this or familymart for dinner.

If the one of the options is Famima then please take the other option. I don't care what it is as long it is not-Famima.

What was it about? If the plot even registered in your brain cells...

By the way I didnt want to sound anti-american in my previous post , we have a fair share of barely watchable French movies too (the usual pretentious / psychologizing / complicated Parisian love affairs with a kind-of social twist and super-boring dialogues)

Yes, went there. Good and reasonably priced, but not that different from the chains like Sushi Zanmai etc

You made a typo there, can you see where? Yeah, you used plural.

Even if I had two cells the other one died watching this movie. It was about a real estate agent who had pissed someone off enough for him to move into his apartment and living behind a fake wall just to fuck his life up.

Yeah, and I watched it to the end. I am not a smart man. Though in my defence I think I surfed the net most of the time.

Maybe you would fancy this more ? :D

(Good parody , but still there is a bit too much action to be credible)

Hah! Due to various circumstances I often cross paths with girls who do P4P either professionally or just casually and I’ve noticed they frequently have a lot of bruises in their legs. So whever I see a girl like that anywhere in Tokyo I wonder if she’s getting paid or just had a really good night :D

Its funny coz i noticed this too, not just P4P ladies... you wonder whether Japanese ladies have a knack to fall down from bicycles or because of high heels etc...
