If you look at it from a biological standpoint, East Asians are genetically predisposed to have low to no body odor because, among other reasons, they lack the apocrine glands that other ethnic groups have in varying degrees. Sure, Koreans can stuff their faces with kimchee all day long and they'll reek out of every orifice but they're simply stinking of garlic rather than overactive glands.
Having been in intimate situations with girls of different ethnicities, I have definitely noticed that Japanese tend to be very low-odor--however, when you find that rare Japanese guy or girl who stinks, he or she fucking STINKS. I had a male student once, very clean-looking guy who I know had a complex because of his body odor and used to take extreme measures to combat his smell, but no matter how many times a day he would take a bath you could smell that fucker coming from down the hall. You could literally still smell him in the classroom a half hour after he left.
Sometimes folks just stink and there ain't much they can do about it.
