I think "money" is a very important material we need to keep our lives ongoing.

I'm feeling such a different impact with clients I meet compared to my start ups, which started charging very little, below 10,000 yen and today, I meet clients that are gratefully pay me up to 40,000.- for my service. Every opportunity was grateful to me, but I had to think,

money is energy exchange, indeed.

(For people happy with money, please skip for next bit, and jump to the latter half, please!)

The small you charge, you trigger clients that would not want to give out certain amount of money. They want to spend as little as possible, and get as much as possible. Their mentality is

*"You got to work so hard to make money.

*You can't have pleasure, for having more than enough of money"

*"What I pay, I give out that in return of the best as I could, because I'm sacrificing my valueable money, and they are taking it from me, in order to get this",

* "I'm not energetic. I don't want to work too much, but I know my company requires me to work as much more than I could. I'm a slave to my company, I'm a slave to my wife, family

*I'd be so disappointed, if I didn't get as much as I wanted, in exchange to my money

Above are types that, you make limited amount of money, and you feel guilty, dirty to have pleasure, in exchange with money to be materialistic.

They end up complaining of what they spend for, because they also have tendency to complain, and blame about what he spent. It all comes from being guilty. Sinful manner...

I'm sorry for rich minded people here, that made you very uncomfortable scan through what wrote in the first half. I apologise.

Compared to above,
Clients who has happy, satisfying relationships with money, they have completely different mentality.

*I spend more to get what I want.

*Good service, we get by we spend more. I'm happy to spend, in exchange with beautiful energy.

*The cheap, the bad. I want to stay away

*Money fills me with energy. Money is my best friend

*When you see your wallet, you got stock of 10,000.-more than 10. You don't carry small notes.

*Good life brings high energy. People are shining, by the power of money. Whatever you want in life, money is the matrerial you exchange with.

Even for hospitals, you want to cure from sickness, such disease, it's an exchange to huge money exchange, in order to receive good doctor's treatment..

I consume alot of energy, much more vibrant than before, much more receiving money by my service, office work today. It's so interesting, you can do to receive money wealth, or money can do to you.

Any thoughts?

Time is value. Money has value. Every person has value. Just because our understandings and goals differ does not erase the value of either one. The sparkle that comes from your child’s eye as you bandage their knee has value. Holding hands with someone you love has value. Not everything in the where you are at costs money, but the commonality whether rich or poor has to do with time. What you do with who you are creates what others see. Many people try to use their money to buy time. Even time runs out for those people, so the lesson one chooses is to find the value of things, both with and without money. With and without time. You are looking to complete who you are by finding the value of who you are meant to be. The clock is ticking.

Not feeling guilty of wanting my money worth in good service, sorry.
And not feeling guilty of complaining when it’s not the case.
Come on, this is Japan, where client is king and you guys make a fuss even for the smallest mistakes and defects! :)

If one examines money, one is faced with a choice: either reject semanticist feminism or conclude that the law is capable of significant form. Derrida suggests the use of textual money to modify and attack society. It
could be said that neocapitalist narrative suggests that money is part of the defining characteristic of truth, but only if the premise of money is valid; if that is not the case, Lacan’s model of textual money is one of “the
predeconstructive paradigm of reality”, and hence fundamentally dead.

The subject is interpolated into a subcultural narrative that includes truth as a whole. It could be said that Baudrillard’s model of money narrative implies that sexuality may be used to entrench class divisions.

“Sexual identity is intrinsically used in the service of money,” says Baudrillard; however, according to Dietrich, it is not so much sexual identity that is intrinsically used in the service of money, but rather the dialectic, and subsequent absurdity, of sexual identity. If textual money holds, we have to choose between expressionism and Lyotardist narrative. But the premise of the neotextual paradigm of money suggests that context is created by communication, given that money is interchangeable with narrativity.

Yes. But the opposite opinion may be valid too. :)

If you attach too much significance to wealth or lack of it, it will be tough to ever really be happy.

But it's way easier to fake happiness if you are really loaded.

Sure. It's easy to fake it if you have lots of money too!

I believe the fundamental of living requires "money". If you're afraid of money, you only make small and struggling life becomes "life".

For successful people, money is their best friend...Maybe some people don't spend, but happy watching his bank book figure goes magnificently big fat figure.

You can't buy happiness by money?

I kind of think you spend lots on your wife, your family, yourself, in order to keep his happiness. Don't you? You love what you see in them, beautiful self, beautiful clothes, keeping style going este salon to maintain, and you're happy you see your gorgeous family members!!! It requires money to maintain.

I understood recently what money was after reading this brilliant book called Sapiens.

First, there were tribes where people shared everything. Usually less than 20 people.
Then came agriculture and towns. Then people started specializing and bartering.
But it was quite inefficient. If you are a shoemaker and you want the service of an escort, you can only offer shoes. If she has already shoes but needs to build an house, then you get no sex. You can spend some time looking for bartering your shoes against the services of a carpenter and mason, but this sounds incredibly inefficient and not even sure these people needs shoes.
Then first came proto moneys like shells or stones to have one thing to convert all goods and services in a common unit.
Basically money is just a simple way to have an efficient market and maintain n exchange rates instead of n! exchange rates.

Thanks to money I can have regular sex cause I'm sure none of the girls need my professional services... :)

That is such an incredibly sad (and very narccisistic) way to see the world.

And besides only ugly people need to wear expensive clothes to look good.

When somebody say buying, it usually implies money being a very significant contribution for the exchange of the product (happiness), by spending it on wife/family, it's only part of the contribution and probably not a significant part, as a poor family can also be happy. I do agree on the spending money on oneself part, unfortunately it's not linear.

The wealthiest people I know go out of their way not to wear clothing to make them appear wealthy.

Ugly or attractive.

Money also does not relate to happiness. I know poor people that are happier than wealthy people. I also know wealthy people that are happier than poor people.

Money doesn’t fix depression or mental illness.

Happiness comes from within. Money is just an accessory to life to support a certain lifestyle. It’s sad to think that if I just can make more money my life would be better. If you can’t be happy when you’re poor, you won’t find happiness when your wealthy.

I get paid to do a job. I do the best I can everyday. Even if I think I should be getting paid more for it. If I’m not happy with my salary, I have the choice to find other work.

Money enables us to sell our labor in exchange for money wage. Before the Industrial Revolution, most people worked to fulfill their social, religious or feudal obligations in a rigid hierarchy of the Medieval society. Back then slavery was the norm not the exception. Yes, money is an empowering tool which allows us to envision our value regardless of race, age, gender, religion, appearance, social awkwardness or whatever non-monetary.

Was reading about how it can be surgically removed. Fascinating stuff. Unfortunately it seems this research was also basically a war crime.

Not sure about happiness, although I tried to surgically remove mental illness. I typically get up to my wrist and give up.
