Tobita Experiences And Questions

I haven't been in awhile but I tended to stick to the houses on the clock street or just off of that.

what you mean by clock street? and usually what types do you go for? do you remember the kanji of the house you always go? Its so hard to remember every girl cause there are at least 2 of them in one place..and also tough to see all of them as some are busy at the moment lol

One of the streets has a clock at the end of the block. That street generally has the best quality girls (youngest, cutest). I tend to go for younger slim girls. I really don't have a specific place. A couple years ago I had a favorite girl but assume she has moved on by now.

do you have any recommendations on Girls that are working there at the Moment? especially cute and busty ones?

anyone here still goes to Tobita Shinchi? looking for some pals to go together lol

I went a couple weeks ago, first time in a long while. Personally, I prefer to go alone.

Some bits of information gathered from the internet, which I haven't seen in this thread yet. Personally I haven't done it at Tobita myself, but been there numerous times just to have a look, enjoy the ladies' attention, get called "irootoko" and have a bite to eat at the near shopping arcade. Also, the legendary "Ôsaka no Obâ-han" really shines at Tobita. I have lived in Akashi (Hyogo prefecture) for one year and did some construction work (plumber on working holiday visa), so my co-workers spoke mostly Kansai dialect which led to me picking up their speaking habits. As I don't have any Japan-connections now it's not a bother to speak different from standard Japanese.

Also, you should know that the current mayor of Osaka, Hashimoto Tôru, worked as a legal advisor for the Tobita restaurant association. At a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents Club of Japan in May 2013, he was asked by a journalist "While the name is restaurant association, every middleschooler in Osaka knows that you enter, pay money and have sex on the second floor. So if called a liar by this middleschooler, are you not ashamed as a politician to speak out such sophisms?". Hashimoto answered "Prostitution is illegal and will be punished by the persecutioning bodies. A restaurant association itself is not illegal" and "If it were illegal, the persecutioning bodies would go there and arrest them. That's all I have to say". You can find lots of photoshopped pictures on the internet, Hashimotos face with "go back to Tobita" or "Tobitas lawyer, Mr Hashimoto" on it. Also, if you speak to japanese people about Tobita they will know about Mr Hashimoto and the restaurant association, although the chances are pretty low that they have been there themselves.

So, the first site: http://tobita.16machi.com
"An introduction to Tobita Shinchi"
The cutest girls are found on the Seishun-dôri, the first street running east-west, south of the shopping arcade Shinkaisuji-Shôtengai. The second street south of the shopping arcade is called Main-dôri. The prices are 20 min. 16K、30 min. 21K、45 min. 31K、 60 min. 41K . At the Ômon-dôri next south prices are cheaper, and the women are older. Some may call out "Onii-chan, 20 min. for 10K is fine!" You may also be able to haggle on rainy or cold days.
Of you have found a girl to your liking, enter immediately. She may be taken by another customer. The best time to select is between 5 and 6 p.m.
If you walk around for too long, the Yarite-Baba (old lady at the entrance) will have remembered your face and tell you to get in already, because you must have gotten tired. Unfortunately I don't know how to write this in English to make it resemble the Kansai-dialect written on the site.

The second site: http://www.tobita-qjin.com
This is the official recruiting site of the Tobita restaurant association. Yes, that's where you apply if you want to work as a prostitute.
They advertise with high salary, 5000 Yen for 15 minutes of work. The prices listed are the same as above (may change during new years holiday, golden week and if the yarite-baba and the customer agree on a different price), but 1k will go to the yarite-baba and half of the remaining amount to the owner of the shop. For 60 min. the girl gets 20 k, for example.

Conditions: - the girl must be at least 20 years old, have common sense and able to use polite japanese
- must be genuine japanese (no foreign girls which have changed to japanese citizenship are accepted). I wonder if they count Okinawans or Ainu in?
- the girl has to produce some sort of identification, for example a passport, certificate of permanent residence etc.

Treatment of the girl:
- will be taken back home after work, if necessary by taxi (which will be paid by the restaurant)
- no taxes or social welfare fees will be withdrawn from her payment
- payment will be given full in cash on each day of work for the respective amount of work
- a trial day is possible ("kengaku"), even if it's just for one day
- working garment will be paid for by the restaurant
- basically there is a day shift and a night shift
- the girl can decide how much she wants to work, even one day per week is OK. No forced labor!
- Most shops have accomodation ready (one-room-apartment). Even if they don't have a room ready, just ask them.
And they will do everything do provide the girl with a comfortable working atmosphere. Don't you think about working there?

The Q&A is also interesting, but I'll save that for another day.

Wow that's very useful information. However, I am confused on something. There are many ways to enter so how do you know which is the first street running east-west?
I usually walk through the arcade, past TAMADE, turn left, continue straight and pass the area with the really old ladies then reaching the public toilet.
The clock would be directly at the far end NORTH of where i will be facing. Is there any better way to locate which is Seishun dori??

I know this is off topic but have anyone here tried Shinodayayma? Apparently its only for Japanese and even with my Japanese, I can't enter unless I have a Japanese ID card. Anyone here have any idea how to sneak past?

I hope this helps.

Thanks for the map! Will try to navigate around it!
Anyway, not to be a wet blanket here but my girlfriend was sharing with me she saw this video of a interview with a girl working at Tobita for some time. She was asked if she will patronize the place if she was ever a guy and she replied no because the truth is there is actually a high rate of HIV cases in this area but is not disclosed to most people.

damn just when i was excited to visit after getting the map lol

There are a lot of threads within the japanese sphere, like "My husband went to Tobita" or "I did it nama at Tobita and now I'm scared". It seems that doing it raw happens rather often, especially if the customer is a regular. If you go to Tobita and have a chat with your girl, she will most likely not tell you about the frequency of HIV cases, because she probably doesn't know the numbers herself and because it would scare away all the customers. The girl have to get tested weekly.
A lot of the japanese threads are actually not about HIV and STDs itself, but how to break the news to wife & children. "My wife will be suspicious if I put a condom on" "I have two girls in elementary school, can they also get infected" etc. While the japanese attitude towards STDs is not as stupid as in the 80s anymore (HIV = foreigner disease), it still is rather naive.

But my girlfriend is Japanese so she was telling me the video was like about the girl confessing that although they have it, they do not tell their customers and still do it raw with them. apparently the routine checks are done less frequently now..

First off, a question: Are you allowed to cum as often as you can within the time you paid for? Or is it only one pop? During my last visit to Yoshiwara the Tenchô mentioned that you can have as much orgasms as you can muster (何発でも大丈夫ですよ!), so I got curious about Tobita.

Well, I doubt the Tobita restaurant association would make the test results public if asked. There was a raid in Matsushima Shinchi (I think, or was it Imazato?) last year when a girl told the police that she was being forced into prostitution. Several owners of "restaurants" were arrested. One reason why Tobita is tolerated is it's distance from the Yakuza, but apparently some restaurants end up in the hand of loan sharks or other shady businessmen when being sold.
So, if there really was HIV anywhere this would leak out sooner or later and stuff would get nasty, regardless if Tobita's No. 1 lawyer sits on the mayors chair.

Of course, I don't have any proof, and unless you raid the whole quarter or the hospital where the tests take place, there will no hard evidence.

What I'm more interested in is why you're talking about Tobita to your girlfriend ;-)

ahahaha i have no idea why she suddenly came and told me this out of the blue as well. i do wish tobita have this "have much organism as you can muster" rule though lol

are there any japanese threads in the Internet regarding getting STDs in Tobita? do the Girls get tested frequently? i really want to try out the place next year.
anybody also here who wants to try tobita in August? are there any japanese users here who can get gaijin in popular japanese-only Soap lands and so on?

Tobita is so bright, you can see it from the observation deck on top of the Abeno Harukas!

By default, the entire experience is covered. CBJ, Covered FS, no kissing, etc, so the chances of getting an STD there is extremely small.

will definetely try the place next year. hope there are still some cuties left. :) which exactly was the nearest subway Station and which Exit must i take? last time i did not find it at first...

There are many train stations in the area but none are directly next to Tobita. I think many people, myself included, take the Midosuji subway line from central Osaka (Umeda, Shinsaibashi, etc.) to Doubutsuen-mae Station (動物園前駅). From there, take exit 2 and enter the covered shopping arcade with the Family Mart convenience store. Eventually you will make a left turn (see the map) and end up in Tobita.

Tobita gets new girls all time, and I'm sure you'll find some young cute/hot ones to your liking.

i wonder if there are any japanese posts or blogs out there saying anything about STD and beeing burned in tobita?

Happened to be in Osaka the weekend, and decided on a whim to visit Tobita. Wanted to check the prices in advance, so was glad to find this thread. Everything covered here fits the facts on the ground.

Scoped out the whole quarter for about 30 minutes checking the goods. Some very good-looking young women with pleasant smiles and big breasts, and some older women looking not so good. Decided on 'restaurant' Yozakura (夜桜) and the lovely Chiharu who looked about 35 and turned out to be 40 when I asked afterwards.

Paid 11k for '2o minutes, but with a bit of service'. Generally a very pleasant experience. If 10k notes grew on trees, I'd go again.

Most soaplands have their girls do regular check monthly. I guess it's under some ordinance.
Tobita, no. Other places like health or pink salons, no. If the girl care about it, she does.
Get CBJ or intercourse with condom in Tobita or a foreigner friendly escort club.
