Sorry to post again but my trip is arriving soon and want to plan well!

I will be in Osaka on Jan 1 and Jan 2. Will the girls and shops be open?

They’re closed on Jan 2, or the day after new year’s day. That’s the only time they close during the year. Either go there before or after those dates.

Got it, thank you. Just to clairfy, they would be closed on the JAN1 EVENING to JAN2 MORNING or JAN2 EVENING to JAN3 MORNING?

They should be open on Jan.3 from 12 noon. Jan.1 not sure of their hours, most girls will probably not be working and most shops will be closed as well. Jan. 2. They would be closed. So go either Dec.30 and 31 or Jan 3 and 4. that would be my recommendation. IMO Dec 30 and 31 would be the best time to go. Some girls might still be taking a break Jan. 3 and 4.

I've never been to those specific places in Osaka, but in Tokyo holidays seems more difficult to book. Many people go on vacation the same day, and some of the girls probably go home also. So higher demand and lower supply. I don't even bother looking during holidays.
I also find that the no-foreinger polices get stricter over holidays.

You should think about back-up plans and expect more crowds.
