Details of the Encounter:
So I had a brief visit to Osaka and decided to try one of the Tsumaten shops. Looking at their site, I noticed they had numerous locations around town. Some of them appear to operate by phone only where you meet the lady at a specified place (Kyobashi & Amagasaki) where others have a storefront you can go to (Nihonbashi, Umeda, Juso & Sakuranomiya).

Having seen reviews that mention the Nihonbashi branch being gaijin "unfriendly" I first went to Umeda. I went up to the 4th floor, opened the door in front of the elevator and before I could finish asking "Gaijin wa..." I got the crossed arms and a firm "Gaijin wa dame!". In fact the tencho almost seemed angry. I was a little bit stunned at the reaction so left and looked at my list and decided to try the as yet unreviewed Sakuranomiya location. It wasn't until I was on my way over there that I likely had knocked on the wrong door in Umeda. Oh well, maybe next time.

At Sakuranomiya I found the building and went up to the office. The building is a very discreet office building with an interior design shop on the ground floor - quite different than the red light area of Umeda where the other office is.

Anyway, in the office there was nobody at the desk. A "sumimasen" roused the tencho from his nap and he confirmed that gaijin was no problem if they could speak a little Japanese.
He showed me two cards of ladies who were currently available: Eri and Yuzuru. As I hesitated he brought out a second card and stated this lady would be available in an hour - her name was Rei. She seemed the best of the three so I picked her, chose the 100min course and was asked to wait.

Once she finally arrived I could hear her talking with the tencho and she seemed hesitant to with a foreigner but relented and I was summoned. So I met Rei and we headed off to the love hotel.

The pictures of Rei seemed fairly accurate and she later told me they were about 4 years old so I recon she is around 45. As has been noted regarding ladies working at a hitozuma/mature shop, it would be foolish to expect a "hot babe" and that was certainly the case here. Rei had a little bit of a tummy, a c-section scar, less than stellar teeth and maybe not the most attractive face. The flip side to that is she had decent legs, is a non-smoker, is relatively tall for her generation and her figure was decent. She had a genuine personality and was easy to converse with. Besides, I'd already paid my money, invested time waiting and the two other ladies didn't seem like an improvement - so off we go.

At the hotel she started the bath and we began to make out while we waited for it to fill. Never made it to the bath. Makeout on the couch led to makeout on the bed where we quickly undressed and went from mutual stimulation to 69 to FS in multiple positions. When I finally released we took a break for a few minutes to snuggle when the timer went off. Time had really flown but then I guess we'd been rather busy.
Since we were supposed to be wrapping up, we went to the bathroom and showered. Soaping up led to another quickie session where I was able to pop again. Another rinse off and the iodine gargle and we headed out.
She seemed to have a good time and was hinting that we should get together soon but since I was leaving Osaka the next morning it was irrelevant. I walked her back to the office building and said goodbye.

Closing Comments:
The session with her was really good. I wasn't particularly demanding but she just rolled with it all and it seemed to go very naturally. I would repeat at that or a different branch. Although I would like to try some different ladies, I might try Rei again as we seemed to hit it off.

Sounds like you got pretty lucky, as Tsumaten is notoriously gaijin-unfriendly. Thanks for the review, however, as I had no idea they had a Sakuranomiya shop or had meet-up locations in Kyobashi. Guess they're expanding?

Just in case you do wander back to the Umeda shop (and congrats on finding it, it's not exactly in a convenient location), just be careful as most of the buildings on that street are full of similar types of businesses, most of them are also equally gaijin-unfriendly and a lot of times they either lack signage or the signs they do have are extremely confusing so you may very well have stuck your head in the wrong shop. If you do end up striking out there again, you could also exit that building (Osaka Diamond Building) and walk directly across the street to the 5-8 Ban Kan Building, which houses very similar shops to Tsumaten. I haven't patronized any but I've stuck my head in before and those shops seem to be far busier than Tsumaten. In fact, if you just stand around outside you'll see a near-constant flow of older ladies escorting lonely older men up the street to the love hotel...but again, these shops are notoriously unfriendly to foreigners.

If you do end up in the area, get shut down and are desperate to bust a nut, Libe Osaka has an in-call shop on the ground floor right next to the 5-8. If you're looking for that flavor of an adventure, they are very, very much gaijin friendly...for obvious reasons.

Thanks for the feedback, KC.

I had checked each of the location links at the bottom of the Tsumaten page such as the one in my review and was initially surprised to see the number of locations.

In retrospect, at the Umeda branch I think there were several shops on the same floor. IIRC there were maybe 3. Based on my experience, Tsumaten was NOT the one directly across from the elevator.
When I first got there, I was in the area for a while trying to figure out the correct street and building. As you mentioned, I saw several guys going on "dates" from the building across the street from Tsumaten Umeda, particularly the brown one that took up the corner.

I had a good time at the Sakuranomiya branch and would try it again and am now curious about the Juso shop. If I ever get back to Osaka...

For what it's worth, guys here on TAG have been successful at both the Umeda and Nipponbashi shop but I think it really just depends on the tencho and almost always requires very good Japanese skills. I think the most recent reports said that Nipponbashi has been a little more gaijin-friendly, but Tsumaten in general will never be a sure bet. On a side note, during my years in Osaka, Juso was basically ground zero for cheap P4P with plenty of FS options for gaijin at Chinese and Taiwanese shops (if you didn't want rushed 12k 20-min FS with Japanese girls at Tobita), but I've been told by a number of guys who still frequent the area that the city cracked down hard and most of the old joints are gone, and the ones left are extremely hostile toward foreigners.

At the end of the day, everything is so much better in Tokyo. Kansai really is Honshu's anus.
