And more infections means more mutations for any virus or disease, which means more chances it bypasses vaccines from people who did try to protect themselves.

Like so much of this incoming administration, it's going to fuck over everyone, not just people who voted for this circus.

Just saw a map of what the Electoral College would look like if the vote of uneducated (well, never went to college) white males were excluded. Trump would only get 6 states. Even Texas and Florida would have went to Harris.

Man, I hope these get everything they voted for. As in the loss of their health insurance, increased grocery prices, and spiralling inflation from tariffs.

It's very real. And this is just the joke side. On the "holy fuck we're screwed and not in the fun way" side, people are still trying to pretend Trump has no intention of implementing Project 2025 even as he appoints authors of sections of Project 2025 to lead the agencies they wrote about.

This is actually a hot topic of conversation amongst our senior management, as how this plays out will greatly affect our industry.... CISO brought up this issue. This might gather some steam with backing of businesses that stand to be negatively impacted by a Trump administration. Or businesses that stand to benefit from Tesla and SpaceX getting slammed.

I guess it's about time to address this - I think we'll close this discussion down once the inauguration is completed in January. Probably a few days after that's done, let people get all their swipes in and that will be that.
