I am following my fair share of escorts both on twitter and insta . What I noticed is that the bulk of when they do tours in Asia , they go to Singapore and Hong Kong but not to Japan . Why is that ?

Japan is not a good country for touring - we have a lot of legal and cheaper services than what tour escorts charge.

Plus, they sometimes want upfront deposits, ID verification, etc. which doesn’t work in the Japan market. It’s just easier to book any random service for a lower cost and less requirements.

As more shops opened to more non-Japanese, less touring escorts stop in Tokyo.
The ones that do come here are usually brought here by their client.. “fly-me-to-you” arrangements.

The remainder of the visiting workers are usually from SEA countries or Eastern Europe.

This. The escorts I've talked to prefer Japan as a tourist destination after they've made their money elsewhere. They can charge ridiculous prices in Singapore, enjoy the fact that everyone speaks English, then take their money and holiday in other places, Japan being one of them.

Once again, those prices are ridiculous only to poor guys like myself. The visiting foreign businessmen seem very happy to take two girls for 1.000 SGD each from Brix for an hour long visit to their hotel room so who I am to judge?

Which they can't do in Japan...

We're just merely explaining one of the reasons Japan lacks the touring ladies that you DO see in other localities.

We have the same sort of clients here, but they know they don't need to pay the same high rates like in your example. Some still do just because they can and others know that they can find local talent for a better rate and possibly a better experience as well.

I randomly get messages through twitter from escorts overseas that are considering to come to Tokyo for tour.

I used to give them very detailed information about Tokyo adult scene, explained we have many legal service at cheaper price, they probably have to deal with English speaking people only if they don’t speak Japanese, no deposit and screening are really working here etc. which is all true, right? I also told them strong point such as Japan’s safety level even without screening, easy transportation etc.
I also told them Kayo’s business style; I didn’t give them her name cause I don’t want them to bother her by sending a tons of question. I told them maybe they could offer short incall service at their hotels as it is rare to find in Tokyo. You have to offer something unique to survive in any business?

But so rude girls, more than half of the girls from twitter asking me about info in Tokyo, they never say anything after I sent them a long reply. Not even thank you.
They just disappear after they know Tokyo might not be an ideal city to tour to.
Or some girls may think that I tried to lose their interest in tour to Tokyo so that I will have less rivals?! I never thought that way but one of the oversea escort that I know told me a story that happened to her friend.
She had a tour to one country. After she met her client at her hotel, she received a message from him right away. He told her to pack up everything and check out the hotel asap as he was stopped by the police downstairs and been asked how he got to know her and if he paid her for anything. He denied of course but it was too late for her. She got banned from the country. My escort friend assumes the local escort reported about the girl because she thought she would be more successful if less tour escorts are visiting her country. She advised me to not post any face pictures in public or delete them before a tour.

That is unfortunately very common. I get requests from companies overseas asking about the local markets and business. I usually answer them in detail, trying to explain the good and the bad. Maybe one in three sends me a thank you email; and these people are supposed to be professional business people. No wonder many of my friends in similar positions than me just send them their consulting price list first and only answer later if they agree the pricing.

Such bad manners are all-too-common as well to job seekers, some visiting relatives and former school mates who hit me up with inquiries and are never heard from again after I provided the info. Oh, well ...

I experienced the same thing.. Frankly, I don’t help people for the sake of personal gratification I get from “Thank you” notes, but because I believe sex workers should stand in solidarity. But whenever I helped someone out by suggesting them to advertise on TAG, they went radio silent & I never heard back from them again.. Hence from now on I ignore those questions altogether.

It is interesting and also sad to hear that even people outside of escort world have such a poor attitude.

Escort should know the fact that some people discriminate you because of what you do for living. Some are very understanding but there are the same number of judgmental people, too.
I often see on twitter and other site that escorts complain about being judged wrong due to their job.
IMHO, If you want to change their view, you have to make yourself change first.

Being well mannered, respect clients, make an effort to share a good time with them, don’t be late for the appointment, if you are, let them know ASAP. It is easy.
You can do a lot of things to not let them tell you “see? That’s why she ends up to be a SW.”
Maybe I am just a Showa origin, too classic woman, lol.

No. You’re right. And I really believe there was a switch of attitude recently (say the last 5 years or so). The « ME ME ME» generation thinks its totally ok to ask for tips, advices, help etc and not give back, not even a simple thank.
I get a lot of PMs here asking for such guidance and now most of the time I ignore them. The declic for me was that tourists couple who asked for help getting into Olive21 and then disappeared as soon as we got them in, no thank you, no review on TAG although they said they would do it , not even a goodbye when they left. Just two fucking selfish pricks (she had nice tits though).

The level of common civility has dropped to new lows... I used to think it was generational issue, but recently encountered such rudeness from similarly aged people. I was raised... if you ask for something, then say please and thank you... If you borrow something, return it in as good or better condition... If you borrow money from a friend, always pay them back earlier than you told them with a little extra... Treat others as you want to be treated.... Maybe this is too old fashioned foe the Selfish, ME ME ME folks...

I did get a thank you for being polite to a potential business partner in Cambodia :D

I remember last year on switter I saw someone saying they were coming to visit Tokyo, and I mentioned they should advertise on TAG, and her response back to me gave me the feeling that esorts are talking about TAG in not so positive ways overseas. I just tried to look up the response but looks like she may have deleted it as I don't see it anymore.

Recently I felt the number of TAG advertising escorts seemed lower. Looking now I see a few more ads than I remember the last time I looked. However, I am absolutely positive that there were no new notifications of them being there. I think that is a function of how the ads were instanciated. I suspect they just reopened old ads, that don't update the create date which prevents them from showing as new posts, which @TAG Manager may want to look into.

What I’m going to say may offend some overseas based escorts, but sometimes when I check their twitter or posts on sexworkersonly sub on reddit, they sound like they’re just echoing what their professor told them in Gender Studies class.. “Review board culture, patriarchy, etc etc..” receive plenty of criticism from them. I understand reviews with too many intimate details may be incriminating in USA but this is Japan. Just do not show your face if you’re from the States or have any travel plans in the future which include USA.
Clients or Tag Manager are not our enemy and if they could transcend beyond the cliches about review boards, they could see that TAG is actually a very supportive environment for women in the industry.

Good points. Well men may be more snarky and sarcastic on average (and yeah, guilty as charged) , but we would welcome more ladies for sure, and even better if they can provide their own fun stories and be the occasional smartasses too.

Eros has provided intel to the police during a large sting in 2017 I think. Since then they’ve lost their reputation amongst many SW and girls advertise there simply because they have to. Any ADs placed there after 2017 are not put under surveillance so far, but can you trust them?

The impression I got, however, wasn't of "I'm worried that I may be found out", but more TAG was considered sketchy, and that they had heard through other escorts not to use it because of that.

If TAG is sketchy, maybe they should never advertise on Massage Republic, City of Love etc.. On the sketchiness scale I would place TAG on the bottom of the list. A huge percentage of the inquiries I had received from these other platforms I have advertised on in the past only yielded horrible punctuation or “you avail?” intros with no respect for my time management. My personal experience is that I’ve met many affluent men on TAG and I have withdrawn my ADs from elsewhere.. (I don’t have twitter because of my personal apprehensiveness for centralized social media platforms)

Yeah, TAG is the least sketchy forum of this type I've ever seen.

I don't disagree I don't feel TAG is sketchy at all. @TAG Manager , and crew are very attentive to the content and work hard to keep the place feeling like intelligent people can come here, though the occasional crazy does manage to slip through every now and then.

This is more just reporting what I've heard. I suspect it has to do with the bad eggs who get booted from TAG spreading rumours.
