Let’s hear how TAG members currently in Japan are handling the weekend weather

Currently at home as everyone else I’m guessing lol finally picking up my JLPT N2 study book and hoping my pets won’t freak out. So far everyone is calm :cautious:
*very boring way to spend a typhoon day I know...*

So , what if I finally booked you NOW?!
Lets be brave and face God’s fury unflinching like strong Europeans whose ancestors went through hell and back generation after generation!
don’t worry, ATMs are still working , there is one just down my place :)
Disclosure: one of mine killed a German soldier during WW1, maybe its one of yours who killed another one of mine during WW2, so lets not get this into the way of our mutual fun
Second disclosure : I’m a bit drunk so it will be a real easy job

At my (home) desk with a bottle of wine and some fried chicken, feet up, catching up on some movies. About to watch the new Shaft with Samuel L. Jackson.

Come on, just be generous and let him book you until the typhoon passes. :D

Ah ah, nice try Fraulein Sommer!
But your site says this about taxi fares:
REQUIRED FOR DATES ENDING AT OR AFTER MIDNIGHT/LAST TRAIN

Damn you’re good!!!
Ok so which general area for the taxi? (Ku-level is ok or just PM me)

Just book her for two days and save the taxi on the way back!

Well.. I can be the taxi :D
There aren’t many in Tokyo right now anyway
So then we have an interesting conundrum : is the time in my car counted as social date?

That was actually more meant as a joke lol I’m not gonna leave the house today. I can’t leave my pets alone either
I totally understand and respect that
The more I know humans , the more I like pets :)
Be safe and lets do this another day Fraulein Sommer , bwaaaaah ah ah
(Sorry, channelling my inner Dr Evil, but you are much hotter than Frau Farbissina)

In my never ending quest to fully integrate into Japanese society, I decided to climb onto the roof of my two storey house and clean out the leaves and other debris from my gutters. I was quite surprised by how windy and slippery it was up there.

Yeah, the socially accepted way for old guys to leave this world is to climb into your roof during the typhoon and fall off.

Every time the typhoon hits there are several deaths because of that. It must be something in the water that makes old guys go, well, it's typhoon, time to climb in to my roof.

Or good way to disguise a suicide...

Way too unsure. If you don't live in a tower mansion that is. Two storeys down and you just might end up paralysed and not getting it up ever again. :D

Been sleeping through most of this... going to eat dinner and watch some TV and go back to bed. Don’t think I have much to worry about as far as rain, wind and flooding goes.
