Waiting out Typhoon Hagibis

Been sleeping through most of this... going to eat dinner and watch some TV and go back to bed. Don’t think I have much to worry about as far as rain, wind and flooding goes.

Tried to sleep my way through it too, but keep getting all kinds of forced notifications on my phone. They all have one message: be careful. Sure, that helps.

It must be something in the water that makes old guys go, well, it's typhoon, time to climb in to my roof.

Rooftop antenna, and no other source of entertainment since they don’t know how to use the Internet.

Just at home with Netflix and a bottle of Jack. Wanted my GF over but she didn't want to leave her mum alone.

slept a bit earlier ... drinking beer again ... have been listening to the radio, they had iHeart Hawaii earlier, the disco segment just ended ... will have a vigil tonight or maybe until midnight ... the emergency messages will probably keep me awake or wake me up ...

as if the typhoon isn't enough ... my apartment just shook for a bit.

Still stuck in my hotel. Slept for a while and then went out to look for something to eat. Only convenience stores are open and shelves are pretty much empty. Thank goodness for the minibar in my hotel room.
