Feeling bummed out since last night.
All these years, it’s like a never-ending cycle: giving priority to someone and finding out later that I rank so low in her totem pole of priorities.
Anyway, I’ll be playing this Steely Dan tune in the gym.

Learn to work the saxophone
I play just what I feel
Drink Scotch whiskey all night long
And die behind the wheel

Youtube introduced me to the "Wrecking Crew" via Bruce Springsteen, and then Glen Campbell. I was interested enough to watch a film documentary about the Wrecking Crew. It was really interesting. Highly recommended. Here is the trailer from Youtube:
