Yoshiwara Soapland Spreadsheet and Discussion Thread (Updated December 2024)

Looks like CH is starting to integrate Yoasobi so that you can tell that you're about to get ripped off without even consulting the spreadsheet during your research. Marine Blue group usually posts about the gaijin tax somewhere, but most shops don't proudly display it AFAIK

Fuck, that's nasty..... literally pushes shops towards the dark side.

It also doesn't make that much sense. Tourists don't use the regular CH because they don't have a Japanese number. Why do they integrate this info into the regular website?

they separate normal gaijin and inbound, but the price is the same anyway.

would be interesting to see if any store would actually put different price there.

one wild guess is they might combine both since it would be a pain to maintain both.

a filter for gaijin OK would be nice on CH.

They can just place scotch tape over the prices and write over it just like restaurants do. Not like a Japanese customer is going to see the separate pricing menu anyway

those tabs are customizable and not new features (saw those different heading on other shops tabs).

I guess those are purely on store discretion.

one benefit is for HE shops, people keep mistaking bath fee as full price.

for me putting inbound and gaikokujin tabs side by side is more of a tease. why bother having 2 tabs with same price lmao.

for below example I doubt they will treat resident differently and will just take same tax as inbound.

Indeed, would help keeping gaijins away from my favourite shops.

I doubt that. Less known/unreviewed shops are already under the radar and don't have this problem. Unifying both sites would drive more foreign traffic towards CH, also automatically to less known shops.....even if there is a filter present to make thing easier to navigate.

I mostly tried to review unreviewed stores last time I went to Japan ~8 months ago, but pretty much all of them have added a gaijin tax or are on yoasobi since then... I can at least take solace in that only a couple are still seemingly fine, but that's probably because they are hours away from Tokyo and not in major (soapland) cities. Definitely learned my lesson of over sharing and might pay for it in this upcoming trip...

Those tabs are customizable, but it is happening outside of Yoshiwara too. I noticed this while I was looking at shops over more westward, so it's likely a nationwide thing done through a CH update, not just a Yoshiwara thing. Just used those shops as examples since the Yoshiwara thread gets more activity than the other resource threads

Don't know how long these have been like this, but seemingly no one else has noticed it for the Tokyo shops yet

I first noticed this new Inbound tab a few days ago while browsing SLs in Fukuhara and Ogoto and thought wow Kansai SLs are cutthroat as shit, YH prices are like double the CH prices for the few stores that see foreigners, might as well go to Yoshiwara at those rates
Checked some Yoshiwara places and most didn't have this tab on CH yet, but then again, there are more places in Tokyo with their own established gaijin fee systems already so they don't reaallly need to rely on YH

From a technical perspective it makes sense to unify their systems
I'd just hope more stores differentiate between Japanese-speaking foreigners who are familiar with the rules, and non-Japanese speakers

What's the current Gaijin Tax on Y-shirt? I'm conflicted from the reviews. Did it increase massively then go back down? Or is it just random whether you get a higher tax?

It varies based on how long the course is. Starts at 3k for the shorter course, up to 6k for the longer course. I did a 90 minute session the other day and the price was 4.5k over the regular, though the fellow gaijin that came in after me was billed 2k over regular. Might be because we had different staff helping us, not sure.

Another forum has reported (with chat screenshots and a pdf) that 聖女 Maria has introduced the Jyotei-style agreement form for foreigners to sign before entry.
So you walk in to the reception, they shove in your face this form with 3 languages, and see if you sign.
Same ridiculously strict rules (no kissing, all covered, etc..), same price, same tax. Not surprised since they are both Jyotei group.

Still deciding whether these yoshiwara agreement forms are worse, or the 3x~4x gaijin price from the cursed CH Inbound tab for ogoto fukuhara susukino nakasu et al. are worse. Is kawasaki our only remaining safe haven?
At this rate, might as well try the yoshiwara Love Boat VIP course. Some reports elsewhere suggest they have no gaijin tax...

Fancy schmancy restaurant where you don't get utensils, sauce, or drink and probably don't even get to choose what food (girl) you want and served cold because fuck you, or barely serviceable food and service at insane prices (actually just the average dining experience in America post-covid). No thanks, I think I'll eat at home if those are my only two options

I didn't know where to post this, so I think this could be the best place for it to fit.

What do you understand when a provider have this is in her profile "N♡対応" ?

I was looking to book someone, but according to me this means is NS option provider, so a no-go for me. I am right or I went full retard?

I found a tiny mistake in list.

Nangumo Group -> Nagumo Group

Nagumo(南雲) is the family name of the group manager. He has been sometimes arrested.

Emerald Emperor must have been the same group as Excellent Club Danshaku. These shops ware part of Reijyo(麗嬢) group. Reijyo was closed about 5 years before. They changed the group name?

Your assumption is, indeed, correct
