Preparations for Tokyo

Hi all,

I'll be visiting Tokyo mid-late April and I've been doing some research to prepare.
I do have a few questions if anyone would be so kind as to provide some assistance.

1. I'm planning on making a reservation for a soap online, probably through Line. Is it better to make a reservation with the shop or directly with a provider?

2. Cityheaven.net seems to pop up a lot. Is it a reputable site?

3. I see that cityheaven.net has a English language site. https://chn.cityheaven.net/en/tokyo/shop-list/biz4/ Is it safe to assume that shops that show up here are all accepting foreigners?

4. Are all shops unlimited shots?

5. How much time do you recommend for a first timer?

6. Is it OK to use my phone to translate? Are they OK with me taking my phone out at all?

2. Yes, it is the official site most shops use

3. Yes, those shops will all accept foreigners usually at an inflated rate. However, there's some shops that also accept foreigners that are not listed on there, best to do your research here first

4. No, depending on the provider/course time it can vary but generally 120 minutes is 2-3 shots, shorter courses may not allow time for more than one

5. Depends on your budget, and libido, no one can answer this for sure

6. Depends on the provider, if you can't speak Japanese its best to stick to the extensively reviewed English-Only providers on here

To supplement for 4, some shops will say 1 shot for the shorter/shortest time slot, unlimited for the others, and some will say unlimited firing within the time slot...if you have the stamina and recovery rate for that.

Maybe a strange question, but is it expected to wash your hair at soaplands? Or is it more of a shoulders down kind of deal.
I only ask because since I have curly hair, it takes me a while to set my hair after washing it. I plan on showering before heading out anyways.

I didn't explicitly need to wash mine when I went to Y-Shirts, but there is the chance some will get wet. Don't be surprised if some gets wet around the neck from the tub soak and lotion rinse off.

Nah, wash you hair at home to show up nicely groomed. At soaplands (and any other fuzoku service) bath and shower is from the neck down. I think soaplands don't have hair dryers in the rooms and wet hair would be a huge mess during play.
